"Family, honor, money and shady plans". The specter of the Montana motto creeps over the city. Having always had a firm footing in the world of crime, the Montana Godfathers have developed a pronounced taste for power. So now, under the iron rule of the formidable Don, their depraved and violent henchmen are all set to spread fear and terror in both the streets and corridors of power.

Simon - 5/4 with SoA (ability) and -12 opp attack, min 8 (bonus)

- The only non-CR Montana as of yet with Stop Opp Ability.
- Decent damage of 4 (6 with fury) allows him to kill with Don, Vickie Cr, or a furious Giovanni.
- While his power is quite low (5), it still allows him to get over the Montana min (of smiley using only 1 pill. Thus, forces your opponent to pill.
- I fought the law, and the law did 4 damage to me smiley

- SoB bonuses and Walls make him very weak.
- Competes with amazing 3-dtars like Sharon, Mona, and Ottavia

Overall: 6.5/10. Simon's power is way too low to be used in most Montana decks. Most people would use Mona, Ottavia, Sharon, Oscar, and even Giovanni before Simon, thus making him at the bottom of the barrel.

However, he is a very cheap Montana, and is still quite decent. Beginners should give Simon a chance and upgrade him to someone stated above when possible~ smiley

Simon + Ambre = Lyse Teria Cr
But... smiley
Lyse Teria Cr + Ambre = Chuck Norris!

Friday 21/11/2008, 09:46

people say this character sucks why?

in level 3 it is 5/4 and Soa

he's a good replacement for Lyse Teria Cr which is the only strong character in
the clan montana and it's really expensive! so just put him in your deck for his awesome ability
which stops the good use for expensive cards and remember: he can prevent kolos for doing a 1 Hit KO!

please rate

Poor Simon was actually decent before Angelo came along but he can still work.

His sweet spot is 3 pillz. At 3 pillz (+ his auto pill) he reaches 20 attack. Combined with his bonus he becomes a virtual 32 attack which is equal to an 8-powered card at 3 stars (also 32 attack). That's pretty sweet for a 3-star SoA card. More than 3-pilling him is just a waste (unless of course, you can KO with him by throwing more pillz, duh). So try 3-pilling him and see how many players he beats.

Simon is based on the movie "The Firm" with Tom Cruise.
In "The Firm" Mitch McDeere (Cruise) is a promising lawyer that joins a prestigious law firm, only to find out that it is part of the mafia. The Firm showers new coming lawyers with gifts, accustoming them to the good lifestyle, before telling them what they really do, and by then the lawyer won't want to end his lifestyle so he goes along with it. They launder money for the mafia and any lawyer that tries leaving is murdered. McDeere eventually manages to put an end to the entire law firm, but the heads of the mafia are not put down.

Now to the stats:
At level 3 Simon has 5 power and 4 damage with SOA (Stop Opponent's Ability)
He's currently ELO banned due to the fact that he is one of few SOAs in the clan and is only 3 stars.
The clan has a lot of 3 stars for ELO and Simon is one of the last ones you would pick unless you're on a tight budjet, and if so you should go with Giovanni.
If you are well-off then you should go with Ottavia or Mona (Or both)

I give Simon a 7.5/10 (due to his poor power and poor damage, I would give lower but he has 3 stars and SOA unlike Giovanni)

I personally recommend this Simon for anybody wanting a good Montana deck. Like many good cards, he is underrated. Most of this stems from the fact that he is a starter card and that he only has 5 power. What makes up for this is that he can sneak in 4 damage with his bonus which takes away 12 attack. The reason that I recommend him is because when people see his low power, they overlook his ability SoA. This stops many other threatening cards other people can play. Just throw him out there with 1 pill and he has a good chance of getting in some damage or forcing the other player to throw out pillz so that they can recover from it. Anyway, if you are trying out Montana you should definitely try him out.

Its Sean Penn from Carlitos Way smiley

Well, I think he's pretty much a staple in any mono Montana deck, just because there aren't any other easily accessible SOA alternatives. Damage is pretty standard and weak power is sort-of hidden with the clan bonus.
I would put Simon before anyone in my deck, even before almighty Mona(fortunately I'm able to fit them both), he crushes power and attack manipulators and laughs at the face of cards likes Kolos. Having in mind he's so cheap it's almost unreasonable not to have him in your Montana deck.

Level 1: Got money in my coat, but I suck.
Level 2:Got money flowing from my book and I and look chic! Though I still suck.
Level 3:Officially in business and no one would expect me to kill someone right? Therefore I rule!

Go watch Carlito's way. This card has got to be Sean Penn's character Dave Kleinfeld. Even looks exactly like him.
