my first full review, if this works out, ill try doing more reviews:smile:
*not putting his stats cuz if my review is at the top then you just need to scroll up 0=)

i give him an 8/10
-despite his low power, he possesses amazing manipulations through his ability and bonus that allows him to stand tall with few pills
-i find him to be very effective against power= power opp. cards
especially cards that manipulate attack (like Stanford) or power (like Randy) with their bonus
they have to use both pills and their bonus to overcome the deficit of his overwhelming attack manipulations
-he is also very effective at endgame with his ability to withstand attacks if you are behind on a few pills
-perfect for calling bluffs
-good solid damage in a pinch
-a fury bluff with him could be devastating to unwary opponents
-soa is clearly more devastating than sob
-relies heavily on ability and bonus though functions okay with just ability
-full stops (like Glorg, Dieter, Leviatonn and Spycee) will just kill him
-understandibly but painfully low power
-if he had more power, he would have to be a higher * level to be fair
-a more than adequate 3*
-since he will most likely be used in elo or T1, he will come up against GHEIST, Roots, Piranas, and Nightmare
4 very popular clans
-cannot be effectively used as an atker without using lots of pillz
-more of a defender, though this bites you in the ass with courage-based cards
-love his manipulations

Skiner (barring ANY SOA) is a great bluffer. He can become an instant 24 attack without lifting a finger, thus forcing your opponent to pill up if you start the round. he is also great when you need to call someones bluff and throw him out there with virtually no pillz.

But what really gets people is when you use him as an attack card. with just 4 pillz he can rope out a potential 40 attack and with 5 damage! That's something that would put a dent into anyones game plan who isn't expecting it.

Only two problems Skiner has in the game today, one is that he completely relies on his ability, which can kill him with GHEIST/Roots and all the other SOAs out there. The other is the fact that without his ability he stands at a lowly 4 power which can be trampled by any SOA card looking to feast on him.

To me, he's a bit pricey, but with the right Meta game running in ELO, at any given week, he can still be a very solid play.

Right, lets talk about Skiner..

In my opinion he is overall the most generally useful 3 star in Sentinel. The solid 5 damage gives people something to worry about, ESPECIALLY when this card has 24 power straight off the bat with no pillz. He does, of course, have a lot of competition.

7/2 Ability: Damage +3
Dayton is floating at round about the same price at 1k, and its fair enough why. Dayton has a solid 7 power (3 more than Skiner's low 4). This still means, however, that Skiner is better or equal to Dayton under 5 pillz.

Against SOA, you need to make a decision on what is more useful, low power or low damage? Either way, against SOA they aren't all that useful, Skiner more so

5/4 Ability: Support: + 1 Power

John was until late the main competition in mono Sentinel. In mono he becomes a 9/4 monster which means that Skiner is worse for anything above 2 pillz.
Yes yes, he's very useful in mono, but the key part is that he is useful IN MONO. He is just a 6/4 on his own (with his ability activated) or a 7/4 with a team mate, where Dayton would be a more solid choice in terms of power.
6/4 Ability: -3 Damage Min 2

Melvin is a pretty vital card in Sentinel (which reflects on his price) as he is the only playable low star damage reducer in the clan. He also has respectable power and damage (6/4) which means he can also be used to attack if necessary (besides, doesn't he look awesome? :D) His ability is, unfortunately, his only real use, and 6/4 isn't amazing for attacking. Only a real alternative in a defensive role.

6/4 Ability: Support + 3 Attack
Lastly, the new (or should I say old?) card on the block, Martha. Martha, in mono decks, is a upgrade/sidegrade to Skiner. She is a 6/4 with support: Attack + 3. This means that with a full Sentinel hand, she has the same +12 attack that Skiner provides, only with 1 less damage and 2 more power. Of course in mono decks she is a very good replacement and beats him at any level of pillz. The 1 less damage COULD cause problems if you have a 2HKO deck. However, she has no place in split decks, where Skiner is much more solid with his definite +12 attack.

Basically, he is still a great card in both mono and split decks, he's just looking a bit aged against all these new cards. If you think of how many 3 star cards you have in a deck then youll see that you can usally find room for him. As most people point out, you can think of him as a mini Rowdy, who as we all know is devastating in battles.

Still one of my favourite cards in UR, go Skiner!
