-is a 5star Ventriloquist
-basically a 9/7 card with the ability (courage: power +3) activated (more than decent if left unchecked)
-6/7 without the ability
-decent enough to be an early threat, although not much more poisoning to expect after you slap your opponent with 7damage
-downside: his courage ability makes him a predictable card and SOA makes him weak and easily beatable
-I like the different artwork versions of his puppets..smiley

Erpeto -The Silent Ventriloquist

He's Cassandra's shadow. Despite how excellent of a card Erpeto is, he seems to be sulking behind the more stable Cassandra. Let's compare the two for a bit.

Cassandra is 8/7
Erpeto is 6/7 that has the ability to become 9/7

So in some cases Erpeto can be better, +1 power over Cassandra, but when he's not he's -2 behind her. This usually makes players choose Cassandra. Stability in power is very important, especially for a 5* card. A 5* slot is hard to fill so putting the right card in there is important.

Erpeto's ability is bound by courage which makes for great bluffs. The problem with bluffing Erpeto is if someone calls it and they used little or no pillz, you just wasted a 5* card and a possibility of 7 damage. Because of this, I always use at least 3 pillz on him when activating his courage. 36 attack is a bump that can be hard to break when calling a bluff and cards with the average 6 power will take quite a lot of pillz to top that.
I also recommend that you only bluff with Erpeto if your opponent is already poisoned. 7 damage is pretty useful in combat, but if they break that bluff and no poison to cushion the fall- that might really hurt.

Despite his instability, he's still am excellent card that is surely worth using.

He's no Jeff Dunham, but if you don't watch out, he'll "keel" you.

lvl 1: n/a
lvl 2: 3/3
lvl 3: 3/4
lvl 4: 3/7
lvl 5: 6/7

ability (avaliable at lvl 4): courage: power +3
bonus: posion 2 min 3

-an exelent 5* card for the Freaks
-paired with his ability he is a 9/7 card wich is very hard to beat
-he most commanly used in the first round if you move first because he can hit 7, he has little chance of being stopped, and gets the posoin through almost everytime
-he makes a great bluff sence most ppl make the mistake of thinking using this card is very predictable
-a staple card in any type 2 Freaks deck

I may not use Erpeto, and I may not use the Freaks in general during ELO and regular tournament matches, but the fact remains that no matter how little I use him he is still one of the coolest characters in Urban Rivals.

Ok. Erpetto is a decent card. I'm a Freaks player though, and I've played him. Let's consider.

Great stats with courage ability activated.
People say that there is no room for poison after 7 damage. So not true! ELO still let's four poison get through.
Cool idea(ventriloquist) and I love the artwork.

5 stars.
Courage ability.
Low base stats.
SOA kills him.

My better 5 stars for Freaks
Splata CR

Other than that, I like him. Overall, 7.5/10.
I like him, and decent price, but just not good enough for me.

Erpeto! another 5 star to add to the Freaks army.smiley

Pros: His ability left unchecked will boost him up to an amazing 9 power which is a very big force to be against.
Lovely, lovely 7 damage (9 with fury).
I love his art, amazing.smiley
A nice card to use as a bluff as a 9/7 affects your opponent psycologically.(don't know how to spell thatsmiley)
You could also play him second to mess with your opponents head.smiley
Will go well in a Type 2 deck.
Cons: With his damage, the poison is mostly wasted.
Faced with SoA or played second he is only a 6/7 with no attack modifiers, can be beaten quite easily.
5 stars, hard to budget into an ELO deck.
Other options for 5 stars, Cassandra, Oren, Eve and splata all have higher power when he doesn't have his ability.

Erpeto gets an 8/10 from me, Nice card with good damage and immense power with his ability, but when faced with SoA or played 2nd he loses his +3 power. His poison is basically wasted with his 7 damage, Still a nice choice for a 5 star powerhouse.smiley
