Everyone is sying how bad this card is so I am going to be the one to say something good about her.(I'm an idiot)

Wel... She has +12 attack which is great. And damage reduction. Also..

You know, the only way to use this card is to start of with it and if your opponent doesn't have SoB she is a wall of 16, which is not half bad. Even 8 power cards have to pill 3 times to beat her. And she is a 2 star so she will have the upper hand in a tie. And she is cheap.

That is all the nonesens I could think of for this card.

Rate green, actually don't I wrote this because I was bored.

I might be a newbie, but since there is no review, I'll try to give one.

She is a really bad... I mean budget-priced option for a 2 star. Just look at Steve!

You need to attack with Denise to activate it's ability, but it's ability is damage reduction which is for defending. You need to decide if you want her to win with her or not. If you do, you need to put a bunch of pillz on her, because even in a mono deck that +12 only boosts her attack so far. Pilling a 4 powered can obviously be a very risky thing to do for only 4 damage, so this is not a very popular move, also it doesn't make any use of her ability. On the other hand you can play her with 0 pillz. Thx to the Rescue bonus even that can cost the enemy 2 pillz, but you shouldn't see this as a positive thing, since all Rescue character can do that. 1 pilling sometimes doesn't make any difference. It makes her 20 attack instead of 16, but a 7 powered character beats both with 2 pillz, so you might need to put at least 2 to have any chance of surprising your opponent.

Defending with her, or against a SoA she is a simple Rescue 4/4, but against a SoB she is even more worthless.

A clearly better substitute is Steve, other better 2 star Rescue options are: Lea (if not ELO banned), Krash, Larry, Vinny and Frida. The list only stops there, because there are no more Rescue 2 stars. If you need additional damage reduction (to Steve), try to squeeze in Slyde somehow!

Her Bio is based of Dr Christmas Jones from James Bond in the World is not enough

Dr Christmas jones (a molecular bioligist) was played by Denise Richards

Common 2 stars for Rescue.

Power 4 is 2 less than the standard, that means she is crippled.

Damage 4 is great for a 2 star card but very useless for a 2 star card with power = 4. Even if she is a Rescue. She can not
benefit from the bonus.

Ability: Courage: -2 Opp. Dmg, Min 2 So even the ability is nerfed by a condition. I have ONLY TWO courage chances for my game. I want something better than a DR. Not to mention that the minimum is 2 instead of 1.

Denise deserves a 4/5. She is not so good and there are 2 star cards that can really put her out of your deck for good.

She's pretty much a downgraded version of Slyde

Denise (level 2)
Atk: 4 Dmg: 4
~ Courage -2 Opp dmg, min 2

Slyde (level 3)
Atk: 5 Dmg: 4
~ -3 Opp dmg, min 1

The only advantage you could give Denise is that she's only 2 stars. If you can afford 200 more clintz then go for Slyde all the way smiley

We have a negative noob comment at the top of the list so far, so I'll add a positive noob comment.
Denise is a very inexpensive card to buy, currently between 200 and 300 clintz.
This makes it a very easy to obtain card for a new player, and makes it useful for the legendary mission which required damage reduction. In my opinion it is a very under-appreciated card.

4 power is pathetic. I won't even try to deny that. From what I've seen, average power tends to be 7, which means you need to pay twice as many pills whenever you want to win. On the plus side, when attacking you always win ties. (unless they have a 1* card)

This is somewhat mitigated by playing an all Rescue deck, since you get +12. For 1 pill you have a 16 which will require most other characters 2 or 3 pills to beat. Typically that is exactly what the other player will do. They will pay the bare minimum pills to beat it. When you lead with this card, if you simply pay the same number of pills they need to do 16 damage you will often win.

If you are hoping to soak damage with it, yeah, you are out of luck. When you lead they will typically block with a low damaging card. There is no denying Slyde is better. If you pay the extra 1 or 2 pills though, you can do a very inexpensive 4 damage. Additionally combining revenge cards (like Cliff) can be an excellent bluff...

The key thing for using this card is to do the unexpected. If you look at it as a damaging card rather than a defensive card you will have a surprising amount of luck.

Disclaimer: This is written after 3 weeks of steady use in deathmatch and ELO in order to obtain Scott Ld. This means at least half the games have also been against Rescue so my conclusions are subject to change with time. Oh, and I'm a noob smiley

Strange choice of clothes (lvl-2 art) for someone who handles contaminations. Maybe she just wants to get contaminated and drop dead smiley . UR Staff was obviously too bored to write anything better about her.

Does anyone else think that Rescue really needs a pill manipulator? Does anyone else think that Rescue needs a replacement for Elvira since she was the only pure SOA of Rescue? Well, I don't think staff will give us our SOA back, but what they COULD do in the mean time is give Rescue a three star pill manipulator, something like a 8/2 or 7/3 -/+ 2 pillz OR maybe even a defeat card like a 7/3 or 6/4 defeat: -/+ 1 pillz or a 7/2 or 6/3 defeat: -/+ 2 pillz. I honestly feel like these would be excellent new Rescue cards that wouldn't be too overpowered, maybe the defeat: +/- 2 pillz cards are asking a bit too much, but if Junkz can have a card like Tremorh, I think that Rescue should be able to have a similar card with slightly lower base stats. That's enough of my rant. Hopefully this will get rated up enough so others can see. Thanks for taking the time to read this guys.

I think she would be a good card for sacrifice. In the beginning I usually sacrifice a weak card to cost the enemy some pillz. And with her ability to reduce damage, she makes the sacrifice much less risky.

Monday 14/05/2012, 10:06

She's quite good imo. You could play her without any piliz and the enemy would have to put in 2-3 piliz to keep up with her and not take 4 damage (if you got a full Rescue deck). if they put in enough piliz, they still deal -2 damage min 2, which makes their piliz quite wasted, giving you an advantage with Denise from the start on.

Works fine for me.
