c Erzsebet

Released on Friday 29/02/08

To comfortably set up the clan headquarters, Estalt has found a huge, abandoned, old house in an almost deserted road, close to the main cemetery. But the only problem is the owner, Erzsebet. She's been dead for over fifty years but she’s extremely fussy about cleanliness…

If ther is one thing I ask myself about! Is why the hell is this card so freaking cheap!?!

It isn't a bad card at all

6/3 -2 Opp.Power Min 4 is actually good!

For you beginners ! Beg to start with this card:cool:

I think this card is named after
Erzebet Bathory who carried out a reign of terror in the 16th century. Known as the blood countess, she tortured and murdered more than 600 victims from her family estate in Transylvania. One method of killing victims was to strip them and lie them down in the snow in winter and then pour water over them until they froze. She bathed in the blood of some of her victims, believing it would keep her skin looking youthful. Though im not sure.

Since Ground Zero isnt here to give a card runout, ill give a minirunout about Erzsebet

6/3 Nightmare -2 Pow min 4
Neat lvl 3 Nightmare card when you cant afford monsters like Dieter (Even though i dont mean it gets even close)
Lotsa like Mona for the Nightmare (1 less damage)
Can keep strong cards down mixed with Bonus
Can ACTUALLY throw down Rescue and Uppers due to SOB bonus
Nice card since still New Blood kind of really cheap

Kudos to one of the UR pro Ground Zero

Erzsebet: The Ghost of Nightmare Manor.

- Good 6 power (Good for a power weakened clan, I mean. See: Rescue)
- Decent (And I use that term generally) 3 damage
- Amazing ability! She makes 8's her own size and anything less has to pill more
- SoB is aways a pro
- Less susceptibility for attack manipulation (See: Askai. Even Askai has to pill 6 to beat her 5)
- 3 stars! Leaves room for Azel and Kenny

- Umm err umm err low damage? And it's pretty decent for Nightmare, with their excellent poisons and life stealers
- Uhhh..... low reduction? She takes care of Ulu Watu and Bangers with her bonus, but big players such as Shayna and Chan might be a problem... actually, not only might, they are a problem
- Ability based SoA kinds of wrecks her, but then again, she still has her SoB to tackle attack manipulation
- Weak to power reducers with a lower minimum than her

Overall: 9/10
Beautiful, beautiful card. I love Erzsebet, since she's both underpriced and underestimated. She's a 3 star, people! 3's and 2's are the fillers, so you can fit Ielena, Azel and Kenny in.
Like Sheitane is Azel's filler replacement (Better in some ways, but a bit worse in more ways), Eadh is Erzsebet's filler replacement.
There's been talk of Edwin replacing Erzsebet. That's not true, people!
While the 5 damage might be a trump in today's Nightmare deck, Erzsebet has higher power. That 1 power is a major thing! First, opponents have to pill more to beat her, and second, she's a lot less susceptible to attack manipulation, whether positive or negative.
Side note: Erzsebet was released more than 3 years ago. Respect her, since she's been holding strong as more or less a staple in most Nightmare decks for those 3 years.
For the record, Edwin was released this year and I still prefer her over him, even though I have enough money to buy both. Edwin isn't even strong enough to replace Orlok or Pan in my deck, or to act as another 3 star filler; Sheitane, Mawpin and Hel all outclass him.

Don't compare Nightmare and Piranas! You'll have Nightmares of Piranas!

~Eloxia Reviews~
Erzsebet 6/3 3* Ability : -2 Opp power min 4.

♥-Awesome ability, able to Bring 8 powers to her lvl 7-5 power to under.
♥-SOB protects her from GHEIST/Roots.

♥-Becomes a 6/3 if hit by SOA which isn't that great.
♥-Low damage.
♥-Other cards able to easily take her spot Pan/Cutey/Edwin.

Overall I give her a 7.5/10. She's a good card, just outshined by others in her clan.

To all of you idiots out there giving Erzsebet a 6-7/10: Mona. You give that 33K thing with the same ability, power and 1 more damage 10/10 and don't think Erzsebet is good? Pill for pill Erzsebet would TIE with Mona. The difference is, that this card is cheaper and maybe even better with that SOB.

The card is underpriced because every new player can get this card when he/she signs up..

This card is totally underpriced (though I shouldn't complain :dork: ) and somewhat underrated. She has a decent 6 power, which is considerably high in Nightmare - but - if her abilitiy is not stopped (which can only be stopped by All-Stoppers or SoA Abilities), she can make 8 powers her power and everything else BELOW her power.

Two drawbacks:

She's 3 stars, which doesn't help too much in a pill-to-pill fight with an (originally) 8 power (without All-Stop/SoA ability), nor does it do her any favors in an Elo/Type 1 deck.
Three damage isn't too great, but it's definately usuable.

Now comparing it to Eadh:

Erzebet -
Can reduce 6 powered cards down to 4.
Has 3 stars, which isn't that great for PtP and Elo/T1 Purposes.
Amazingly cheap.

Can only reduce 6 powered cards down to 5.
Has 2 stars, which is excellent for pill-to-pill and Elo/T1 Deck-building.
A bit expensive.

Actually, if you look at it, Erzebet would beat Eadh pill-to-pill. However, Eadh's lower stars are more or less a better investment.

For a beginner Nightmare deck-builder, I would buy both if I had the money.
