Poison 2, Min 3

If Freaks wins the round, at the end of each of the following turns the opponent will lose 2 Life point(s) if he/she has more than 3 Life point(s). If the opponent has 3 or less Life point(s), the poison effect is not triggered.

I already posted this, but it got deleted ( smiley ). "Akendram" is an anagram for "Mandrake," a plant used in ancient sorcery and pagan rituals.

Two years ago, this card was already overpriced, and today, it is still overpriced. He's just one of those cards who for some reason, consistently remain greatly overpriced for mildly above average stats or abilities, like Praxie from Skeelz as well.

Why do I say Akendram is overpriced?

If you're building a Freaks half-deck for ELO (and Freaks' bonus invalidates any reason for a full deck anyway), this guy is fighting for only the FOURTH slot in the line-up. Obviously Bogdan and Olga are way better than him, so they automatically get the first two slots.

Then, we come to the third slot. Akendram's supporters would say he has a nice attack manipulation, but if you're going to use 0-2 pills, Esmeralda beats him there. If you're going to use more than 2 pills, both Olga and Olga Noel beats him. Yes, Olga beats him at only TWO pills while Olga Noel ties with him at the same TWO pills and thrashes him afterwards. You thought -6 attack was godly? Give it a simple calculation and you'll realise it's true! The fact that he has one measly damage more than either one is simply irrelevant. If you want high instant damage or to 2HKO your opponent, you shouldn't be playing Freaks anyway.

This is why most high level Freaks half decks contain Bogdan, Olga, and usually Esmeralda as well. The fourth slot is quite open to player style and preference. If you ask me, either take Olga Noel for equal star count, or take one more star for Grudj, or gain one more star by going for any of the two-star Freaks, like Magda, Harleen, or Soushee. Nothing wrong in going for Akendram too, but as I've shown above, for a guy only in contention for the 4th slot in your Freaks half-deck, he sure commands an overly high price.

Now as a disclaimer, I don't have him in my collection. Two years ago I only had enough Clintz to choose between him and Olga. I paid 1.9k for Olga, and I have absolutely no regrets at all today. I don't hate Akendram, just his price and whatever the justification there is behind it. smiley

Akendram is a fantastic card...............but not NEAR worth 8-10k clintz. that's more expensive than Baldovino, Olga and Grudj combined!

more like 2-5k i believe

Super overpriced!! Another card I refuse to buy... I'd pay like 900 for this thing. top end 1500

I sold him for 1400.
He's fucking 10k now.

Stop buying him already, I went on a 3-4 month hiatus for crying out loud and the price GREW. Really, if your actually willing to buy this guy for his current price than you've got money to spend elsewhere. He's a decent card, yeah, but 4k+ for a card that is only slightly better than Esmerelda due to his damage isn't worth the extra clintz.
