cr Robb Cr

Released on Friday 25/04/08

Robb always knew he wanted to be a professional darts player – the only sport that's always played in the warm, with a beer in hand. What he didn’t know was that he would become the best ever - practically a legend - capable of transforming simple bits of metal into real weapons.

First development of the 3 of this character’s different developments:

Robb - 5/4 with -3 opp power, min 4 (ability) and -2 opp power, min 1 (bonus)

- A decent damage of 4 (6 with fury) that lta you kill with furious Striker or Lamar Cr in non-ELO environments
- Of course, his power reduction is his best trait and is incredibly scary. Solid beasts like No Nam become weak wimps against Robb. A card with 7 power and no bonus/ability that aids it in combat needs 4 pills to even tie with Robb using one
- Most Montana need to use at least 3 pills to beat Robb.
- I always find it funny that Sakrohm and Uppers need to use at least one pill to beat him most of the time.
- Even without his ability OR bonus, Robb can still function well.
- With such a scary ability, he is an excellent bluff
- He's only 3*, ladies
- Darts is a badass concept

- The loss of both of ability or bonus/ a loss of his ability or bonus and attack manipulation weakens him considerably.

Overall: 9.5/10 - Robb is such an amazing card that joins the ranks of other amazing All Stars. With his reduction skills, he can make even the toughest of beats look weak. The only thing keeping him from perfection is his shakiness against certain enemies, but that shouldn't keep you from getting this card.

There are so many minus power cards which people describe as just like plus power cards. They are not! Since this is one of the big minus cards, I am putting this comment here.

The higher the numbers are the less the gap between them matters. Lets say you have a 7 power card and a 5. If you spend six pills for 42 attack, you opponent has to spend 9 pills to top it with 45. Now lets say you have a 5 power card and a 3, again two power gap. If you spend six pills for 30 attack, your opponent has to spend 10 pills to tie you at 30. See the difference?

If robb is say fighting a seven power card and he spends 5 pills, that gives him 25 attack which makes the newly 2 powered opponent unable to beat it. However, if you consider this just like boosting robb 5, he would make a 50 attack with 5 pills. His 7 powered opponent beats him with 8 pills and 56 attack.

Minus power is not the same or "virtually the same" as plus power, it is better.................except in some cases of low pills against a plus or minus attack bonus.

I am not a fan of replying in the comments section but apparently you didn't get my point. While Robb Cr has some great power reduction capabilities he is balanced enough to be countered(every protection power card, protection power and damage, soa, sob clans are able to counter him really well). He bears neat to no chance of winning.
That does not apply for the character that came to replace him. Saki has only but a few flaws and by having a stable bonus of -2 opp. power and copy opp. bonus as an ability I'd say she is much more unpredictable and hard to counter, since she can get by protection power cards, sob, soa with ease. We are talking about a 1 power difference on average of cards with those abilities/bonuses so they pretty much have to pill the same against her while their bonus gets "stolen".
If Robb Cr was unbanned and let's say it was a week which he wasn't temporarily banned wouldn't it be easier for you to counter him if you knew you would face him in ELO rather than having to do that with Saki? The answer is of course you would, and because of that you, and the majority of the players that realize that wouldn't even bother voting for him in the temporary voting that takes place every week. If Robb Cr and Saki would switch places All Stars would be in a far more stable state than the one they are at right now, which is Marina and/or Saki banned almost every week.;-)

If you want to know if a character is op, you cant compare him to his mirrors, you have to compare him to diferent cards, or even different cards on his own clan, for example Edwin gets owned by khaelus cr and Trish meanwhile robb is draw wit them(at 2 power).
Edwin might be more solid(he really is,not something groundbreaking since everyone knows robb is shaky), but Edwin will most likely never be more than 1 power stronger than his oppoenent, most times its gonna be 5 vs 4, meanwhile robb is gonna be 5 vs 2 a lot of times, without even mentioning 5vs 3, at those its an easy win, now the 5 dmg kind of make Edwin look stronger, but you gotta factor in the clans, Nightmare is notorious for being a low dmg clan(exceptions=kholos , Oshitsune) meanwhile All Stars have a whole selection of Grand slammers even in the 3 and 4 star division.

All Stars card review!

Robb Cr: 5,4 -3 opp power min 4. -2 opp power min 1.

Pros: Great ability that functions well with bonus
4 damage? Average but not a con
Crazily good wall that beats 7 and 8 powered cards that don't have atk manip.

Cons:Low base power of 5
SOA and/or SOB really hurts.
Atk manipulation hurts.... a bit. Unless it's Dr Falkenstein,Stella, Miss Stella, Sasha, or Troompah, it won't matter
that much.
Elo Ban
Huge DT penalty

Overall: A+

Although shaky, Robb Cr is a great wall and is an easy 4 damage. Although he was banned a few months ago, (Late 2012), a new card named Saki can now play his role as wall for the All Stars clan. Saki is more stable, but Robb has higher potential that can ruin their 5* card. (You wouldn't want to play your Ongh against this card)

Robb Cr : Probably the best 3 star power reducer in the game! Bought him for less than 5k clintz back in the day :)

-Very high power manipulation, can tie with 10 power!
-Only 3 stars, leaves space in your deck for Marina or Oyoh
-Can bring cards with 7 power down to a measly 2! :)
-Dominant in ELO

-SoA and SoB hurt Robb
-Often banned in ELO
-High attack manipulation really hurts him (Montana)
-4 damage isn't that great

Overall: 9.1/10 - A must have in any good All Stars ELO deck, really makes your opponent poop their pants ;) Cr was well deserved. In a couple of months his price will increase so get him while you can!
