c Masamu

Released on Friday 23/05/08

Masamu could be a very happy mechanic: after years of dealing with badly shaven, foul-smelling mercenaries, he finally landed himself a job with La Junta. Unfortunately for him, his job is to maintain Chiro’s armor and given her combat style, he’s not about to get a holiday any day soon...

First development of the 3 of this character’s different developments:

Masamu - 3/5 with Support: +1 Power (ability) and +2 Damage (bonus)

- High 7 damage (9 with fury) that allows you to 2HKO with basically everyone from the clan. Even furious Wardog gets a kill! Even without his bonus, Masamu has above average damage and can 2HKO with Bryan and Gatline
- Potential 7 power is very decent, giving Masamu some strength.

- SoA really hurts Masamu. His 3 power makes it almost impossible for him to beat any Roots or GHEIST. Striker and it's game over.
- His ability is support, so if not in a mono-La Junta deck, he can't do much. In fact, with 2 La Juntao ut, Masamu has a weak 5 power. So he needs all his members to be any good.
- Even at full strength, cards like Trish, Jane Ramba, and Archibald are better than the guy.

Overall: 6/10 - Masamu is an ok starter card for people who want to try La Junta at the early steps. He has more power than Leo, Myke, and Mitch, but Masamu is really weakened by the SoA metagame. It is highly recommended that you take him out once you improve your deck, as there are a lot better.

Masamu = 3/5 at last lvl with Ability of Support power +1 and Bonus of Damage +2

thanks to his ability he has potential of 7 power
5 dmg
>7 with bonus
>>9 with fury
3 stars so he wont really take space in elo
common card

base power of 3
SOA KILLS this card
SOB and SOA could hurt this card
pricey because of huge risk

Really good card for starters, sadly its to much for them, so if you get enough, dont buy this card but get something like Bruce or Nahomi, or even Archibald because of his ability. The potential of 7/9 in this card is amazing, however the risk is high, because it takes one SOA to KILL this card. Sadly not my favorite artwork either:-|

Well I realy like this card. Its sort of funny playing against power=opp power. Sure hes weak against soa but with La Junta I usaly win against soa befor using him. Stop the hate start the love i mean 7/7 unoppsed thats better than most 4 stars in the game.

This card has earned a place in my heart from the very start. My first 2HKO tactic was 5 damage (Bruce, Tolliver, Wyre, Archibald, Hugo) plus 7 damage (Masamu, Naja Ld) equals win. Time for a more formal review:
7 damage allows plenty of 2HKOs, and is exceptional for a 3*.
Potential 7/7 is beastly.
Can be used to draw out SOA, protecting you Emeth Cr, Trish, Naginata, and Archibald.
Weakness to SOA is brought to average by La Junta's "Stop:" cards.
Only 3*
Soul of your first Junta deck, thus earning a place in your heart.

Weak to Roots and GHEIST, as you can't draw out an SOA if everything has SOA anyway.
Only 3 power against SOA

Total: 7.9/10

many people look at this card and say "its too risky only good for starters" well i have a solution- coupled with Dacote and other stop cards will scare opp. With Dacote on ur side opp will be too afraid to play SoA first so if u can aford both do it!

He isn't a good card. But he makes good cards (Chiro and Dugan) Rate up if you agree.
