In her hundred-year-old shop in the heart of Clint City's Chinese quarter, Amanie invents, prepares and sells magic potions concocted from an array of plants, mushrooms and other natural produce. Surprisingly versatile her mixtures can be just as easily used to treat foot blisters as they can to open the mind to totally new sensory experiences.

Hey man, society is just so uncool! It's Babylon here. But, the Roots, right, they got it, they knew things couldn't keep goin' on that way; we have to make it real again. So, you know what the Roots did? They went to Babylon to tell the government that everything wasn't gonna be alright, man. But no one would listen to ‘em and that really messed with their minds!

Amanie - 7/3 with +4 life (ability) and SoA (bonus)

- A very decent 7 power
- A useful ability of +4 life widens the gap by 7 (9 with fury). Pussycats can't touch this smiley
- Lvl3 scares me smiley

- Her low damage is desired.
- Much less usreful when hit with SoA.

Overall: 7/10. Amanie is an ok card, but not even clsoe to as good as Ratanah. If she were a 7/7 with no ability, I'd think she'd be much better (as her bonus gets rid of most damage reducers anyways). Still, an ok card. smiley

Armanie is so under-rated tbh she can create a gap of 7 life ?? whats wrong with that ??
she can stop dr's cos of her bonus
she is a bit shaky but she should not be looked down apon

A solid Roots card. If you need a 4 star in your ELO Roots deck, Amanie is the only card to really go to since Ratanah is a perm elo ban. Still, you want to steer clear of her when the meta game swings in favor of heavy GHEIST and Roots decks.

~Eloxia Reviews~
Amanie 4* 7/3 ability: +4 life.
2nd art she should get a new shirt.

♥-+4 Life!
♥-Bonus saves her from cards like Yayoi and Jackie Cr

♥-SOA kills her.
♥-3 damage is low for 4 stars.
♥-Artwork is terrible after the first star in my opinion.

Overall I give her a 7/10. She's an amazing card for elo but is a little to fragile.

I have to disagree with sliffy i think this card is better than rattanah i think that Amanie fits better in Roots

I recently played against a person who, in my opinion, used Roots the best possible way. I know I could post this other places but I figure Amanie gets enough traffic so people can still see this.

Ok so why are Roots so effective? Obviously their bonus stops opponents ability and that is a huge advantage while keeping their own ability

So this person I played against had the following cards in his deck:
and others

but what do these all have in common?

Life gap.

Its huge and effective

Rate green if this is important to know

Slify i loke your reviews but sometimes you jsut get silly...

Whats up with you lately using words such as "virtually" ?? a 5 power card with -2 opp power min 1 is NOT virtually a 7 power...
A 5 pwr card with + 2 power on the other hand, that might be virtually.

And how can you ever write about Amanie that she would be much better if she was a 7/7?? Of course she would... she would be elo banned. Its like saying "Armand is a nice card but would better if he was 4 stars" ... obviously he would be better.

Ive always looked to your reviews for advice and councelling but uve been slipping lately.. smiley No offence meant.

Happy gaming!

well in my opinin this card is very good it s a 4* 7/3 with ability +4 to life and although its not very solid her soa ability gets rid of most cards with soa ablity and she can basicaly replace armand and free a space and in elo thats a very big help.

Bad card.

Why would you ever use this card over Gretchen or Tuck?

If you want some power/atk manip, you can use Tuck.

If you want some Bomb Power, you can use Gretchen.

NEVER Amanie.

@slify: actually, pussycats get their full reducing abilities against her. her +life only works against cards like ulrich, nerfeniti, nistarok, clara, redra, dwan, etc.
