Manfred has been an interesting case for Skeelz academy. He started out more than a little violent, to the point where he was picking fights with almost anybody for 'passing by him the wrong way'. And being a telekinetic, it wasn't hard for him to simply pick up a text book with his mind, and slam it into somebody's nose. Both me and groundsmaster Deebler had to take a firm stance in keeping him in control after he lifted Milton of the ground completely and hung him (by his shirt mind you) of one of the statues out side of the Combat tower.

But, even Deebler's beady little eyes couldn't always keep a watch on him, and Manfred continued to lose his temper. Until one day he tried to pick a fight with Liam. Everyone assumed Liam was going to end up painting the walls a very unpleasent pinkish red. To everyone's suprise, however, before Manfred even threw a punch, his underpants were pulled over his head (I always knew that Liam would use his power right one day!), and his hands were tied behind his back with what I remember to be a pair of stolen girls... 'panties' (I beleive Sasha still wants those back).

Ever since that day, Manfred has considerably calmed down, and even started wearing a long coat (presumably so no one can grab his boxers again). He seems to be more sociable, and even sits with Tomas and his group every now and them. He still gets an energetic thrill from beating someone senseless though.

Manfred - 8/4 with Confidence +1 per damage (ability) and Protection: Ability (bonus)

- Amazing 8 power is always welcomed, especially in a clan where the bonus isn't power or attack manipulation
- Decent damage is great, especially with an ability like that,
- +1 damage per damage creates a very nice gap ranging from 8 to 12. 8 life gap isn't bad at all!
- Still playable even without his confidence, although a lot less useful.
- I'm really glad to see +1 life per damage back again. I can't even remember the last time I card like that was released,

- Problem with his confidence is that, like other confidences, he is opens up to damage reduction. After a win ,your opponent will predict him coming and send out the DR. Of ocurse, this is horrible if you're playing first, but you have a chance to use Manfred at full potentional if you fake your opponent out by winning against their DR with a different card and then sending out Manfred. Really risky though and impossible to do in the later games, of course.

Overall: 8/10, His Confidence is risky, unless your opponent isn't playing any damage reduction. Still, he is a nifty little 4*, and has much potential. Jay is a better killer, but Manfred might be the better choice for "bleeding" decks

Manfred's artwork looks very grainy, and I don't think it's intentional. Perhaps have Mr. Semedo resubmit it with improved image quality?

smileyI LOVE HIM smiley it took me some time to look at some of his other competitors and all i have to say is WOW smiley after looking at him and comparing him to the GREAT !! Scopica its seems to me as a life supporter he has to be tied at best supporter character with her Suzie isn't included because her power is one point too weak for me and mostly relies on her support bonus ALOT!. And even then SoA kills any dreams you ever had of her bringing you back in a fight trust me it has happened WAY too many times in ELO or just some bad luck that i run into a Roots clan user. But any wwho I LOVE the 8 power not only does he get you back up on defense he has a 4 damage not too good but not bad at all SoA can't touch him and you can use him as a bluff too making your Oop. think you want a very high life point lead. BUT DOM DOM DOMMMM!! this gamble comes into place and that is his smileyCONFIDENCEsmiley i know some of you are going to say oh noo but dont worry SoA doesn't do anything, only real thing you have to worry about is power reducers, and + the fact that you have to be on a winning roll to do any real damage. So i guess once again we have a double edged sword in our hands here ppl so what do I say... mmmm. ... . . . I ...WIl!!....GIVE HIM!.. smileysmileysmiley ....smiley9/10 !!!! smiley yes a 9/10 looking at him he has too be one of the best cards I have ever reviewed on UR he can get you back in a fight, give you a VERY high lead using fury OR EVEN NOT!! using fury, has a God-like power with 8 and a Holy ghost protecting his ability, compared to other cards like Scopica they have major weaknesses nothing protecting its ability and a SoA stops any chance for a 4 point come back and plus she can only defend she only has a 2 damage making her pointless if you run into some thing like that so this is why i give Manfred his 9/10 if you are Skillz player get Manfred before you even blink

A great 4* Card for Skeelz.

With the potential to produce a 12 life gap, this card is something of a monster in right situations. In my experience, he tends to be overlooked as a threat until it's too late (ie 3rd round life gap producer to clinch win).

The situational nature of his ability isn't that much detriment, imo, and his base power really pushes his ability forward.

My favourite 4* for skillz, only slightly trumping Jay (both are fantastic cards. Don'[t be put off by his relatively low cost, this is a wonderful addition to any Skeelz deck, especially if going mono.



@c3k - I'm not sure why you're comparing a 4* life gap card to a 5* SoB. This card runs along side Thomas as a valuable boon to a Skeelz mono, they're not in competition at all.
