c Jody

Released on Friday 14/08/09

So your children won’t listen to you. They refuse to eat anything other than vanilla ice cream and have decided to repaint the lounge pink. Well that’s just too bad!! That type of thing would never happen to parents who’d had the good sense to leave their children with Jody – the city’s top child minder.

First development of the 4 of this character’s different developments:

666 in URL
6/6 Stats
-3 Opp. Damage Min. 3 would be 3+3 = 6

Jody - 6/6 with Confidence -3 damage, min 3 (Ability) and -10 attack, min 3.

- Impressive 6 damage (8 with fury) that kills with an Oxen that attacked first, a furious Zatman, Nellie, and others.
- Decent damage reduction bringing an enemy down to 3.
- Nice support with the Upper bonus!
- Kids paint rooms pink now-a-days? I'm behind the times

- Lowish power, even for a Upper.
- Confidence makes her a bit predicable, even for a bluff. In addition, her min of 3 isn't the lowest thing in the world.

Overall: 7/10 - Really not much I can say about this card. Damage Reduction = good. High damage = good. Low power = bad. Confidence = bad. She would have been much better as an 8/4, in my opinion. I'd stick to Nellie or Beetenka for the 4* position.

ok this is my first review!

Jody,looks like betty's sister(but older)

here is she's stats:
level 1=4/2 Ability at level 4
level 2=5/2 Ability at level 4
level 3=6/3 Ability at level 4
level 4=6/6 and unlocks the first confidence in Uppers(confidence:-3 opp damage, min 3)

overall: i vote 7.5/10 this is a dissapointed ability but there is Zatman and jackie and other which keep them from winning so her ability will be use but not everytime

vote me up if you like my first review, hope you like it:blush:(she's though)

Card 666. Power and damage are 6 and 6 respectively. Ability is -3, min. 3, which adds up to 6. ._.

Good 4 star, not the best though for the Uppers. I would take only two cards over her in the 4 star spot. Being Nelly and Wayne Stark. With her potential of giving you a -3 damage reducer, I would take her over Beetenka simply because of the versitility she gives you.

You can even make a case in putting her over Wayne Stark because Uppers have one usable damage reducer (Burt). But that will come down to your style.

She is a fantastic pick up for her tremdously low price. A must have for beginners!

In most decks, Jody falls short to some better Uppers 4*, like Nellie, Wayne Stark, and (if not used in Elo) Jackie Cr, Jackie Cr obviously being far superior. Confidence on her ability causes her to be less useful than other Uppers DR's like Burt and Maurice.

That said, though, she can be deadly in DT. With 6 damage allowing 2HKO's with a boxful of other Uppers cards, she can hit the enemy hard psychologically. Let's say you pilled quite a bit with Owen - he wins the fight and enemy loses 6 health. Well, maybe a little too much, and you don't have many pills to work with. Now, right after the battle animation finishes playing, you quickly send out Jody with all your remaining pills like you're the champion of mouse-clicking. The opponent might think that you're trying to send her out with no pills, due to her Confidence DR (which activates since Owen won the previous round for ya), so he/she counters with maybe a n SoA or non-DR wall. You 2HKO with hilarity.

Alternatively, you could send her out will no pills after overpilling, and maybe your opponent thinks you're going for the 2HKO. He/she either overpills or sends out DR (the latter which you should counter with Rubie or Jackie Cr). Bam! You regain pill advantage and may be able to finish off the opponent's remaining 6 health.

That said, though, either method may backfire just as easily as it could roflpwn. Nevertheless, you can see how she can psychologically pressure on your opponent - combined with DT's fast clock, your opponent could mess up.

Should I go with Harold - (7/4) or Jody (6/6) They both have the same ability but Jody has a -3 and Harold have -1 but you also have to take in account that Jody's is a min of 3 and Harold's is a min of 1 ...... So hard choice
