Candice - 6/5 with +2 Pills (ability) and -2 opp damage, min 1 (bonus)

- An impressive 5 damage (7 with fury). This high damage works well with the Pussycat bonus.
- +2 pills is always a nice ability. Allowing an extra 2 pills lets Candice use quite an amount without worry.
- My opinion, this lets Candice become a great bluff. No one wants to take 5 damage. Pill manipulation usually makes people think you're going to use a lot of pills, so it can be quite a surprise when you bluff with Candice.
- and if Candice loses, that Pussycat ability comes into effect. Bam!

- Problem with Candice is that she has low power. Because of this, her pill manipulation may not be enough to beat a lot of opponents.
- Unlike most 6 powered pill manipulators, Candice has no attack manipulation, no power manipulation, no SoA, and no SoB. Thus, it really is an uphill battle for Candice.
- In addition, SoA hurts quite a bit to Candice.

Overall: 6.5/10. 6-6.5....ugh, I'll be nice. Actually, despite all the flak I give her, Candice isn't that bad of a card. high damage. Pill manipulation. I compared her to cards like Andsom and Katan (Piranas cards that are barely ever used, and they have SoB to help them out), but that's a little harsh since she is not a Piranas, but a Pussycat. That bonus really does help for the bluffing part. Still, I don't really see a need to use her over Noemi and Muze though. While she can do some nifty things the other two can't, they are more reliable against stronger enemies. A real shame smiley

This beats out Meg by creating a higher life difference as well as the pill effect, loses to Noemi for the effect being useless in the final round, loses to Muze because, well, she's Muze, and the rest of them (Sakura, Noon Stevens, Svelthana, and Tania) aren't in the running for passable 3-stars, so really its just a debate, over Candice or Betty. Candice has less power but her added pill bonus allows for over-pilling, and Candice can create a greater life point difference without running in fear from SOA. It's certainly not an amazing addition to the Pussycats, but it IS an upgrade for any Pussycats player who is starved for some lower starred characters to offset the star-eaters like Charlie, Ditha, and Yayoi (17 stars right there--good luck fitting them all without breaking the bank every time one levels up!)

Get her, but wait a while for the price to go down, she's not worth blowing your budget.

7/10 for unpredictability. This game is based around knowing what certain cards are good at and what they aren't, for a 3 star the clan bonus fall back plan is useful and opponents will not want her to get through so pillage is guaranteed. Enjoy =)

Decent card but outclassed by others and overpriced right now. I see her prices drop after a while to around Noemi and Muze, so sell them high when you can.

Charlie's Log
Name: Candice
Occupation: Former stripper for the Montana/head of the mud wrestling for the clan.
When Candice joined, she had told me that she was a former stripper for the Montana clan, wow I'm surprised that Flesh Pimp didn't hired anyone to kill her. But she came up with an idea about getting fighters interested in our clan. She's the one who leads the clans training, for mud wrestling. I know that's a bit of a way to oppress us, but as long as the training takes place at the Pink Club, we're fine.

Why does every person phailloide draw look like they've been dipped in nuclear acid?
Other than the 'art' Candice is a jack of all trades and master of none. She's flexible, but not super good at any one thing.

Candice is way underrated. First of all, saying "This card is hurt by SOA" is the exact same as saying "This card has a very good ability." With GHEIST getting 7 characters banned and Roots losing all of their 8 power I think you can use someone like Candice and expect to at some point get pills from her winning. She is at least as threatening as Archibald, and she cheats you out of damage if you beat her. It is good to no pill bluff with her, yes. It is also good to spend 7 so you can drop their life almost in half and keep more than half your pills. Sometimes I mix it up and spend 3.

Let me compare Candice to some similar characters in other clans

Katan: +1 damage for +1 star rarely a good trade.
Veronica: +1 power for +1 star with evenly weighted abilities also isn't a good trade.
Tremorph: +1 power for -1 damage. It's hard to crown a clear winner here.
Archibald: +1 power for -2 damage is easier to call, advantage Candice.
Saho: -1 damage and on top of that Saho's min is 4.
Andsom: -1 damage, but better ability by 1 pill. Both have good stats, but Candice isn't as easy to play around.
Corrina, Sayura, Deea: It isn't unreasonable to equate Candice's ability to 12 attack, so Candice is ahead of her peers. This also puts her above Taljion and Gertjan by a damage assuming they are full clan. If you buy that then Rowdy is +1 damage for +1 star. Candice is even more advantaged if you assume a pill is worth more than 6 attack, and if I'm planning on finishing with Louise I might be valuing Candice's ability as highly as +18 attack.

Now let's consider how bonuses play into things.
Archibald: Candice is almost as offensively threatening as Archibald but she also has 2 damage reduction. In good times it is better to have Archibald's higher power, but when your back is to the wall Candice's unpredictability is very handy. It's also generally better to have Candice off-clan or against SOB clans since her lack of bonus only matters if she loses.
Tremorph: With their respective bonuses Tremorph is generally better than Archibald. He still has the same situation when you compare him to Candice. On a good day, Tremorph can put you into an easy win position with Rowdy or Fuzz after only the first round. Candice isn't as likely to do something like that for you, though Louise is a scary Lady. When it isn't your day and you need your 3 star to save your fat Candice give you more distinctly different options. I'm not calling Candice better than Tremorph, but I would argue against anyone saying the reverse is true. As with Archibald I will say it is generally better to have an off-clan Candice than an off-clan Tremorph.
Andsome: Candice isn't going to be beating many All-Stars or Montanas, but at least you have that damage reduction. Andsome on the other hand can win a lot of fights against those kind of bonuses since you can reasonably afford to spend so many pills. Against SOB clans or +2 damage clans Candice is usually going to be better since she isn't as much hurt by Furthermore, when you have 6 pills left there is no reason to not spend 3 of them to Andsome. This means you have to use Andsome earlier in the match to get full use of his ability whereas you don't have to with Candice.
Saho: Assuming you win and there is no SOA, Candice is better. If you lose the round, Candice is better. Against SOA clans I wouldn't want too much to ride on Saho's 6 power when I have a 10/4 in Sandro. What's worse is that if you don't use Saho early you can lose the opening and it's like you have Noon Stevens without her bonus. I'm not going to lie and say Candice dominates GHEIST but I'd generally rather have Candice than Saho all other things being even and GHEIST is supposed to be Skeelz's strong match-up.

Final thoughts: To Meggy14 who wants Candice to have 6 damage, do you realize how powerful she would be? If you win round one you could KO round two with Selina without Fury. She would be Katan minus a star, and would blow away any 3 star competition. If Candice were 6 damage she would be ELO banned for life.
And to Silfy, you need to consider that her damage reduction means opponents aren't going to be as willing to spend to beat her. You said that she doesn't have an attack modifier, but she has pillz. I don't get the impression that you have played with Candice much. Candice's biggest problem isn't her power, SOA, or SOB. Her problem is that Pussycats are a sub-par clan that is the UR staff is slowly trying to improve. Candice has acute Olga syndrome, the condition of being underplayed despite being quite good because her clan has issues that one card can't solve. If Candice were Montanas clan people would be screaming bloody murder, but at the same time Yayoi stays off the ELO banned list while Montanas have to take Vito seriously. Cats are getting better, and Candice is part of the solution.

to be honest for a 3 star card 5 damage and 6 power is pretty good, and her +2 pillz ability makes her even better and with her bonus she'd make a great bluff, so i'd rate her at 7.5-8/10
