Karrion - 7/5 with Poison 2 min. 0 (ability) and Stop Opponents Bonus (bonus)

+ SOB and 7 power are a formidible combo.
+ I'm just going to cut to the chase: Poison 2 min. 0 is one of the greatest poisons that UR has as of yet. He can 1 hit on turn 1 with a myraid of conditions. Even if most time's it's nearly impossible, he still can :)
+ Jeez is this guy one scary bluff. My record is 7 pillz on Buba in mono-Jungo
+ He has the potential to do more damage than Kolos on turn 1. Not that it counts for much, just a cool fact.

- To begin with, ability based SOA is one. Normally people can say "Well you'll only encounter on average 1 per hand", that brings me to the next point:
- He has to be used turn 1 for maximum effectiveness. So he's predictable in that way.
- 5 stars is pretty hard to budget into a deck
- I don't really have much more :-/

Overall: 9/10. I actually really like this guy. I know some will disagree, but poison 2 min. 0 is an amazing ability! Luckily his SOB sheilds him from GHEIST/Roots and even the playing field in terms of power/attack manipulation. Any con of his is outweighed by his immense "damage". In terms of which 5 star to use, all the ELO legal ones as of now (Excluding Ghumbo who is staff banned) are quite lackluster. Nistarok has DR, but that's mainly for T2. Ielena's damage is too low, and her life gap isn't generally worth it. Vince's power is too low... Certainly something Nightmare needs for when Ghumbo gets banned. Although this guy has the potential to be banned himself...

Although I'm not one for advertizing, I made a deck, and Karrion is in it. You can see it here: Nightmare on Main Street

Just found out, if you poison the opp so he will be kOd in the 4th round by his(Karrion) poison, but he KOs you in the 4th round first, the poison still takes effect meaning a draw.:-d Rate green so people see this important, awesome fact.:thumbsup:

Reviewing Karrion.
(+) Usable in ELO and really very unlikely to be seen on temporary or permanent ban list. Use him on first or second round and if his poison gets in,your opponent is in deep trouble:eek:. A HUGE plus from here.
(+)Usable in both Standard and Extented Daily Tournaments:love: Poison goes through and your opponent gets down to 1 life in round 4:shock: One more attack and he is KO'ed within two rounds, just amazing. Has also great symmetry with the clan's Legendary Card, Dudley Ld. Again a HUGE plus from here.
(+)Usable in both ELO and Extented Survivor mode.:nosey:Wonderful! Usable in Deathmach as well since he encourages quick matches.
Verdict: Karrion is just a win win card. Well how much would you pay for a card that is deadly in ALL MODES? At the moment he is ranging from 21k to 23k,so it's pretty easy to conclude that he is worth a lot more. A card that all UR players want to own!
I'd suggest you buy him while you still can, he should be worth more than Kolos but that's my opinion.;-)

No one can say Sylth Cr has the best poison anymore. There's so many different types of poison now that you can't really put them all in the same category.

Take for example Karrion: he doesn't have a stronger (in terms of damage) poison, but he has the potential to KO. Sure other cards can KO through poison, but Karrion is the strongest of its kind thus far.

Another example is Sigma. She has the most damage potential out of all poisoners, but that doesn't make her the best. Her poison is greater that Sylth Cr's but Sylth Cr has a way lower minimum. So, in my opinion, Sigma and Sylth Cr are the best in their category. (We only need to look at the ban list to see how powerful these cards are.)

Anyone else get reminded of Karthus from League of Legends?

I feel like the whole "Book of Souls" he protects is equivalent to the Necronomicon.
And Ash is... well, obviously... Yeah. Ash Williams... Army of Darkness?
