Using the Chinese pinyin, Fang Pi means fart literally. Or 'nonsense' / 'b*llsh*t' conversationally.

Wanted to mention this for a long time but didn't have a place to. So UR staff... seriously?

Oh and 'Clang'.

Definately a clan for the risk-takers and the very Lucky. With very few power/attack manipulators (Chan, Rei and Sayura come to mind) your only chance of winning comes from straight-up pillz. It makes it hard (Not impossible, like most people say) to fight against power minupulation and attack manipulation clans. Most specifically, Rescue and All-Stars are the toughest, trailed by Uppers, Sakrohm, and Bangers/Ulu Watu. In order to be successful with this clan, your going to need to budget your pillz. You need to remember that your not playing with Junkz/Pihranas/Vortex, and if you use a pill and you lose, the pill is gone.

Anyways, on to the pros/cons:

+ PROS:

+ High damage. Most known for thier abundance of 1 hitters, Lost Hog, Kinjo, and even Lao Cr. That said, there's much more 2 hit combos out there.

+ Intimidation factor. Certainly scary when you see Kinjo, Lost Hog, Zinifred, and Timber in a hand. Of course, its very unlikely, but seeing 3 possible ends to the game is sure to put pressure on your opponent.

+ Mind games. Lost Hog is coming at you. Do you pill or not? Pill, and if he bluffs, your down 5-7 pillz. Don't pill, and the game ends. The clan is based around a 50-50 coin flip. To pill or not to pill? That is the question.

+ SOB/SOA. Stop opponents bonus doesn't hurt as much as other clans. Rescue, Uppers, and All Stars get hurt *MUCH* worse than Fang Pi Clang. SOA, stop opponents ability, hurts very little compared to Sakrohm or Piharanas. In fact, Fang Pi Clang can function relatively the same without bonuses or abilities.

+ Unique. My entire time playing the game, I've only seen 3 people use Fang Pi Clang. Well most times people use Rescue because of thier +12 bonus, or Montana for thier beast of a bonus, people forget about Fang Pi Clang. I'm not saying that you'll scare them into cardiac arrest with a clan they've never seen before, but they will have limited knowledge as to how to counter you.

- CONS:

- Weaker power. Like most clans, Fang Pi Clang has about an average power of 7. But, unlike most other clans, they lack bonuses that aid in combat. Thier bonus is activated *AFTER* you have won, which is hard to do against other clans, that either have attack manipulation, power manipulation, or just generally higher power in the first place (Vortex and Beserkers, mainly on the last point. Add La Junta to the group too.)

- Damage Reduction. Opponent damage reduction doesn't Sting as much with your bonus, but Kinjo vs. Nistarok is going to be quite hard to watch. The bonus cancels out the Pussycats' bonus, so there isn't much worry there. But the biggest problem with damage reduction is the lack of it. Xia Leming is the only damage reducer that I've seen in Fang Pi Clang. But, with the release of Kusuri, this department is looking much better. However, fighting La Junta or Fang Pi Clang is going to be very hard, due to a lack of cards to soften the blow.

- Power/Attack Manipulation. Inside Fang Pi Clang, there are very few attack and power modifiers. There are a few adequate ones; Sayura, Chan and Rei.

- Pillz Manipulation. Zero. Tsubame is the only one. It's not thier department, with only one card that functions with this kind of ability.
________________________________________________________

All in all, I think I'm being a bit tough on them. No pill manipulation. No power manipulation. No attack manipulation. No damage reduction. So what do they have?

Tactics. Mind games. One of the easiest clans to get inside your opponents heads. What they lack in power, pillz, damage control, they more than make up for with psycological impact.

So all in all, if you play them right, they can be surperb. That can be said for all clans, however. In my opinion, I rate them:

8.5/10

This was the most ignored clan for forever. They had crap for 5 stars for the longest time. Kinjo, Lost Hog, etc. are completely 1 dimensional (1HKO, yay) and 5 and 6 power just doesn't cut it. If you didn't have Kerozinn Cr, you were SOL. But then a couple years back, the staff remembered that this was a clan and started releasing some decent cards. I can't remember who came first but Kuei and Fei were both a breath of fresh air. Kuei filled the much needed 5-star slot and Fei became an instant staple in ELO (with his Buddy Chan) and other game modes as well.

Following on their heels came a flood of great cards. Zinfrid, Heitachi and Futoshi Ld at 4 star, Zhu Tang, Shifu and Ralph at 3 (honorable mention: Kamekun), Kusuri, Dao Wang and Yumi for 2s, and finally, Tsubame and Yoshida, the ultimate 5 stars! It's also worth noting that with Tomoe and Tameshi recently joining alongside Hatori, Fang Pi has 3 pretty solid T2 DR options which makes them pretty deadly in that format.

So that's pretty much it. Fang Pi is finally right where they need to be in relation to all of the other clans. The only question is: Why did it take so loooooong??

I have been playing a lot of Final Fantasy and have been thinking That the fang pi clan should have a character based off of Gilgamesh called something like Gilguy-Mish rate green if you agree

Okay, first off, sorry guys for spamming Fang Pi Clang with comments, there just my favorite clan that I just can't use due to the lack of attack and power they have in their current cards smiley Oh and I am in no way the claiming to be a master at Fang Pi Clang , just voicing my opinion smiley

So this may be a bit lengthy so sorry for that too smiley

So I'm going to start of this by giving my views on why to play the Fang Pi Clang smiley
The Fang Pi Clang are the number one OHKO (one hit knock out for the newbies that didn't know smiley ) clan, they are best known for their OHKOs and 2HKOs as pretty much every combo of decent cards will get you a 2HKO (two hit knock out smiley ), they're all about damage so the clan teaches you to be careful with pillz and how to scare you opponent, it also has a few good power manipulators too ( Fei, Yoshida, kerozin cr, Ralph ), but they are sadly not enough smileysmiley

I'm not going to lie, this clan is far from the best or most reliable clan YET (I know, its hard to admit, but we all know its true :/) the clans bonus has great synergy with some of the cards however (Zhu Tang is the best example I could come up with).

As this clan's bonus only takes effect after you have won it is difficult to get your damage through, this is why I suggested some of the abilities in another comment (doubt UR will listen but ahh well :/) , the clan is AMAZING at its best, but it can be an uphill battle to reach that point smiley

So why choose this clan?
In my personal opinion, this clans theme is what got me, it has a large affect on the cards in the clan yet is not ridiculous like some of the newer clans ( I'm looking at you Sakrohm smiley), the cards in the clan are all unique and the bonus can be forgotten by some opponents which is always nice smiley

the clan has AMAZING potential but sadly, it was left behind when all the other clans were boosted with heal, support, etc. cards (sure there are some cards that have theses abilities, but not enough smiley) so when the day finally comes and Fang Pi Clang gets the cards that it desperately needs it will be one of/the best clan out there smileysmileysmiley

So my opinion on who should use this clan at its current state:
-The main people that should will be those with a lot of clintz to spend as to get an above avarage deck, your going to need them smiley .. If you are one of these players, a good combo to go for Tsubame and Timber, as she becomes a OHKO with defeat:recover 2 pillz out of 3 smiley otherwise go with Ambre as the Leader, she gives this clan the boost it needs to win rounds smiley

-Another group of players that should favour this clan are the "high risk high reward" type players, this clan is just that, the risks are high but when pulled off the result is deadly, in this case go for cards like Zinfrid or lost hog (just don't look at his art smiley ) and possibly add in Timber again (just to make some more OHKO cards from your deck)

-A different tactic with this clan is to give up on mono where they are in honestly a bit shaky and go half decks with clans like Pussycats (wrote a more detailed comment about that if you want to see more smiley ) or Vortex, or maybe Uppers or Montana if your looking for that - opponent attack boost smiley

- The final group of players I would suggest at least taking a look at this clan are the newbie players, this is because most newbie cards don't have enough damage, but with this clan thats not a problem smiley but if any newbies do choose this route, keep an eye on the power of cards, most cheap cards in fang pi aren't so good in that department smiley

OVERALL: Fang Pi Clang are a clan with a lot of floors, however amazing potential and are all about KO and not life gap, so with them be careful of and DR cards or any +health cards, they can make the difference between a OHKO/2HKO and a massive waste of pillz smiley. The fang pi clan with a little adjustments by UR however, could become one of the most dominant clans of the game smiley

so to end this "review" if you like, the clan is more of a risky play style but can be adjusted to other styles too, hope this helped and good day to you smiley

Is UR trying to tell us something? Nearly every single clan has something against the government/the establishment All Stars is against the corporations wonder food, Bangers hate how the government is giving them a bad reputation, Fang Pi wants to overthrow the government, Frozn hates the government's pollution, GHEIST is trying to take every thing over, Huracan sees the government as "pulling the strings", Junkz don't want the government to put a speed limit on their music, La Junta sees them as "a bunch of fools" and want to take control, Montana are a criminal organization so they are naturally against the government, Nightmare wants to destroy the city and it's inhabitants, Piranas are pirates and criminals so again naturally against the government, Pussycats are trying to get equality from the government, Rescue is upset that the government isn't doing enough for the citizens, Riots wants to impose their "wise rulings" upon them, Roots is upset about all the pollution and other anti-nature related things, Sakrohm wants them to get rid of all science fiction, Sentinels are mad the government isn't doing anything to restore order, Ula Wata is upset about the pollution, Uppers wants them to get rid of the ugly people and Vortex came to this time to invades UR trying to tell us something? Fang Pi Clang

This clan is risky indeed, with no attack manipulation or power manipulation this clan would have a slimmer chance of winning against the attack and power manipulation clans but if for some reason you managed to pull it off and win you will have a good gap of health difference with your opponent
good thing the urban rivals staff did not let this clan to be totally weak
they created staple cards like Kuei,Chan,Fei,nakata

overall rating:7/10

Fang Pi Clang - Translates to "Epic Ninja Pawnage"
Anyways.....
Damage reduction - You have this fat guy and this 2 head guy and this..... no wait I think thats it. Overall, DR sucks
5/10, very bad, I believe this is the WORST clan when it comes to DR
Damage - Look at the bonus. You tell me what the rating should be
10/10, easiest rating ever
Base Power - They have a fair share of 8s with Hattori and Nakata and Kerozinn Cr and w/e, also some 7 powers as well
8/10, Looking good
Power Manipulation - Chan is 10 power, Kerozinn is 9. Other than that, ditto
7/10, Individual cards are good, but the clan lacks power manip
Attack Manipulation - Not too good... ofc Yumi is good, Sayura is good, but the others are just bad
7/10, Same rationale as the power manip
Resistance to Sob - They lose 2 damage, which is bad but still workable. Its not as bad some other clans, but FPC isnt exactly Skeelz either
8/10, Average
Resistance to Soa - Well, um... oh wait there's Nakata, so you can at least get 5 damage in rather than being blanked 12-0
6/10, I don't like it
Overall: 51/70 = 7.3/10 (excluding the 2 categories I deemed irrelevant for this clan, Life gap and pill manip)
They have some great cards, but the clan overall is weak

Name: Kimora

Bio: Kimora always loved visiting her grandmother and helping her prepare her favorite dishes. Even though she liked many of them she could never deny a dish of her grandmother's famous noodle dish, 良い麺 [pronounced Yui Mela] which means good noodles. After her grandma was put in the hospital from an invasion in her noodles shop, she gave the recipe to Kimora and was ordered to use make it because her grandmother was no longer able. One day while running the Noodle store Lost Hog ordered the dish and he asked her to join the Fang Pi Clang as the main cook for the clan.
