If you own an Android phone and you are eagerly waiting for the Urban Rivals app, you'll be happy to know that we just release the first dedicated version of the game in the Android Market!
Just search for it and you shall find it
It's the same version as the web game, but packaged as an installable self-contained mobile app, optimized for mobile (bigger buttons etc..) and with some added features like an integrated shop, and ways to buy credits directly inside the app, a cache system for images etc..
We support purchase thru text message, debit/card with Zong and free credits by downloading other games/apps with Tapjoy (like we used to have on the iphone until Apple decided otherwise).
It needs an Android handset capable of supporting Adobe Air (basically: flash), you can find a list there: http://www.adobe.com/flashplatform/certified_devices/smartphones.html but i'm not sure how often they update it.
We hope you'll like this app and that it will work flawlessly on your favorite Android device.

@ninjabanditox: you can access the other game mode in the play tab, then the icon with blue arrows at the top (change rooms).
The way we built the game (before ipad) does not allow us to adapt to the ipad easily, but we are thinking about it
You shall be able to get rid of most transition in the options.
In other news, the android version shall be updated soon with the new UI.

Hi, thanks for the android version of the game. Enjoyed most of the time, except it often crushes when initiating the fight, not always but frequent, and i can only start again when the game is timed out, thus a lot of default loss (ouch!!!) im using a galaxy sii with android 4.0.3 btw.
