Today sees the launch of the Standard Format. This new format revolves around a list of characters that are updated every 6 months and only includes characters that were released less than 3 years before the current update (including Ld characters). Only these characters, Leader cards and characters from starter packs will be used in the Standard Format. To enable you to clearly distinguish between characters authorized in Standard Format and those which are not, we've added a special background to each character illustration, which you may have already noticed.

@ Glibon. Shows what you know about T1. Why is ELO more in line with it then?
Dont change this it is great. but there does need to be some system stopping a 20 star hand versing a ten star hand
It now matches up decks with similar star counts or something, which means the 16* decks are that much better in tourny, same win rate as big decks, but more points per win for having lower stars.
@ninjabanditox: It matches up decks of about the same *s so if its a 16* hand against a 10* hand then the 16* person got lucky.
If we're gonna be stuck with this mode, the least UR could do is make it a priority to provide us with good cards to fix all the clans they just destroyed with the new Standard format.
I like the new shorter times for each round but has anyone else been loosing to time outs when they made there pic with 20-30 sec still on the clock?? I will admit I don't have the best connection but I have lost 3 games now that I had in the bag due to either lag or a bug
@Parn113: Most of the time its your internet conection because if theres lag the timer will still count down but show you 20-30 secs.
Is the UR staff ever going to address our questions or comments about any of this?
With such a high level of concerns and dissatisfaction, one would hope they'd at least care enough to throw us a bone here.
