Today sees the launch of the Standard Format. This new format revolves around a list of characters that are updated every 6 months and only includes characters that were released less than 3 years before the current update (including Ld characters). Only these characters, Leader cards and characters from starter packs will be used in the Standard Format. To enable you to clearly distinguish between characters authorized in Standard Format and those which are not, we've added a special background to each character illustration, which you may have already noticed.

Happy gaming to you all!

I would really like a format like extended 25 in the Daily Tourney instead of the standard DT. And by judging the most of the comments i'm pretty sure a lot of people support such an idea.

I know Elo is similar but Elo requires the player to play for a whole week. DT are only for an hour. And many players have obligations so they can't play for a whole week. Also Elo gives you a penalty for being absent.

The Death Match mode does not reward players with credits so extended 25 in DM is useless for me (how do you expect me to buy new packs?). Also very very few people play DM. Which leads to players with extended 25 Deck play players with extended T2 Decks (i seriously don't know why!). Is this even fair???

Both the Daily Tourney formats (Standard and Extended) are overwhelmed with players with 30-40 stars deck. This leads to stupid battles which are not strategic at all!

While playing Extended DT i still manage to get pitted with players who have T1 decks. But in the Standard all i find is overpowered 30+ level cards. and to top it all only about an average of 500 players play Standard DT (I'm being kind, usually they at 300 or so) while the extended has an average of 5000 players.

Standard mode to me looks like a mode which enforces you buy new packs for you to play. At first i thought it was to facilitate the new comers, but how can they beat a deck containing Herman kazayan and lady in one go?

@hasburki you are a ridicilous complainer. dm is for those who want to level up quickly and that's the reward. And for elo you only get penalized 2 points everyday. And who says you can't beat a deck containing herman kazayan and lady. you just have to play good

"dm is for those who want to level up quickly"

No, it`s for fun and credits. And you needn`t to play for a long time.

Yes, I want formats back too. At least, 25* should fight only 24-26* desks. Not 20-30*.

And I am really tired to see such type of desk in standard: JUNKZ+UPPPERS. Make this cards weaker. I want Kazayan to be bunned from standard.

I now understand that the entire purpose of Standard DTs is to give lazy people a small chance at CRs. So when you look at it that way, I guess it's a success. smiley

Now that you mentioned it. Could someone clarify: Are the CRs given to 5 people randomly chosen from 150 people? or are the 5 people chosen from 1800 (12x150) people?

Did Bagadur really say DM was for credits?..... No further comment needed.....

It's 10 Crs. 5 for Standard, 5 for Extend. 5 out of 1800* players for each. The lucky players' highest ranks (in their played format) that day are compared for prize distribution. You can be in both draws at the same time.

*People who place in the top 150 multiple times do not increase their individual odds; they just remove other players from the draw, so the number is never actually the maximum 1800, but it's close enough.

Clint City, day.
