While working on Urban Rivals, since several months we are developing our new title : Fantasy Rivals, a trading card game taking place in a fantasy universe. You will find the game type you like again, but with new game mechanics and an original universe. To be notified when the game is available and to sign in the private Beta which is going to start in the next few days, check out this page now.

"the private Beta which is going to start in the next few days"

This is not ironic, this is genuine. In the future, I think, it would be better not to get players' hopes high by writing "the next few days" (which, at worse, is a full week) and, instead, hold the news for a bit longer or simply omit this sort of information. I'm posting this not to criticize, I'm well aware how difficult it is to create interactive content, games in particular, but evaluating the reactions of people on this forum and in my guild, I would say you guys fired the gun at least a week too early.

I was going to make a long, ranty post, but you know what... Why bother?

Let's just say that making a game is really, really, REALLY hard... Just writing the code is like trying to speak a weird magical language, in which one tiny mistake can have catastrophic results.... And that's only one of the things that could possibly go wrong.

Obviously, the developers did not say "the Beta will start in the next few days" so that they could have a good laugh at your expense when it didn't. I'm sure they are trying their best and working very hard. Please try to show a little bit of patience and gratitude.
