Fantasy Rivals in private beta Goralion - Admin - Wednesday 21/11/2012, 12:06
While working on Urban Rivals, since several months we are developing our new title : Fantasy Rivals, a trading card game taking place in a fantasy universe. You will find the game type you like again, but with new game mechanics and an original universe. To be notified when the game is available and to sign in the private Beta which is going to start in the next few days, check out this page now.
I once signed up for a private beta on a different TCG. They rushed it through to meet artificial deadlines. AS a result it was so glitchy that I literally could not even play it. So I'd rather they get the coding right the first time so as not to delay for an extended period.
I too, am disappointed by the wait, but I think that they are trying their best. I do not want to join something that is totally glitchy in everything that whatever you do, something else happens. Just let them take their time in making it work. They are doing a huge treat as to even tell us about a month beforehand instead of lets say 2 days or something.

Which is exactly and precisely why I wrote my post. People, reading that the beta is right behind the corner, prepared themselves to run. Now they are poor sweaty things that cannot run because the track isn't there yet. I think there's a simple lesson to learn here, but necessarilly for the players who -- as they ought to -- are simply emotional.
I`m programming, and it`s not to be underestimated. One mistake can take weeks to fix. (At least for a newbie like me:razz
For all we know, it might just come as a christmas gift, and in worst case scenario, the game might disappoint us. (Don``t take me wrong, please)
