Fantasy Rivals in private beta Goralion - Admin - Wednesday 21/11/2012, 12:06
While working on Urban Rivals, since several months we are developing our new title : Fantasy Rivals, a trading card game taking place in a fantasy universe. You will find the game type you like again, but with new game mechanics and an original universe. To be notified when the game is available and to sign in the private Beta which is going to start in the next few days, check out this page now.
After testing beta, here are some of my thoughts about this. First of all, It is a great game so far with the bonus system for clans absolutely differently vs UR. The bonuses are different for cards in same clan it like the second ability but have to be activated. Second of all, you do not have only 4 cards for each battle. Each round it gives you 2 options to choose a card for the battle. Third, the arts are great. However, here are what I dislike about it. First, the missions I like the mission system in UR but in FR, the missions are simple and they are just returned many times like "do 10 damges", "remove 5 life", etc. Second, if u have a card and upgrade its level max, the second card of that card is at max level not at 1 start so u cant see the art of that card at each level of it. Finally, the strategy for the deck in this game is like mono clan because if u play half-clan u may be not activated the bonus of cards except some cards' bonuses is activated by other clans.
P/S; There is "Items" system in FR that I do not know what it is. Someone experienced it and explain me what it is. Thanks :">
1) Im not sure if the quests are going to stay like that, I think its just for the beta so they go quickly and they will be made harder, and maby completable once, when the games released.
2) You will be able to view the characters arts on the character pages. They just havent added more then level 1 yet.
3) They don't do much. Some give you a title which goes where URs ranks e.g. Legend go, others change the fight screen background or give clans new finishing animation.
