But Leaders aren't really a clan. Their bonus is useless (splash only), they're all immune to SoA, and almost half of them give extremely powerful effects to your ENTIRE hand. What faults does Ambre have that making another Leader could possibly highlight?
To be fair, my reference wasn't to Ambre as it was to the leaders as a whole.
Leaders as a whole (and as a clan) are an odd bunch. Their bonus is completely useless, however in return they get some of the best abilities in the game (a bit like Skeelz). Whilst the ability may be amazing, they themselves tend to suffer from horrid stats (Hugo being a 7/5, Ambre being a 6/4, Timber being a 6/6). If we added more leaders, it could potentially highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the leaders clan (or at least give it some range, which it has despirately lacked).
How about... creating a new Leader? Team: Null. Nullifies all opponent's Leaders. If your opponents draws a Leader, and you have this card in your deck, you automatically draw him/her. Give decent stats too, maybe 8/6?
Its ok you give us a list the characters that you hate oppose with. Please every one dont just write here the list the caracters that you afraid of of. if you write down a character explane why.
I agree with HinoShimna in that the Balancing the clans and the leaders are two different problem.
TheDoomBug is right as well, that not Ambre is the only problematic Leader i just hightlight this card because in my point of view this card make the biggest problems among the leaders. Maybe the whole Leader "clan" need a to be rethink.
You need to realize one thing: there is no difference in - 10, -5 or -2 penalties. People who care about penalties never use those cards becouse they want to have good score / win turnament. Others dont care.
In curent system if you want to win you need to play fast - max 2 hko. So cards like Spiaghi dont deserve penalties. Same for clans that are week in DT. You want to ban stanley - why Nobody plays Ulu Watu on DT.
