Frozn feels broken :(

It really hurts me to say, but after more than a year I'll have to say that this clan seems to be broken. main flaws:

– lack of 1st round cards

unless UR makes that into an ability and gives the Frozn a bunch of those cards this flaw will always be a very tough one. you'll normally want to play your cards with full potential of that really amazing bonus (on paper), which means loosing first. that will make you vulnerable to all kinds of cards. sure there is Brok and Eliska and Tiwi Ld, but they have flaws too, let alone your opp has SOA

– lack of split deck playability

if you want to get decent 1st round cards, you'll have to use a split deck. thing is, if your hand doesnt split equal, you'll either loose your really amazing bons for your Frozn card (know that painful feeling being forced to play Mikaal without bonus?) or you loose the other clans' bonus, which was the reason to split your deck to begin with (Skeelz and Vortex hurt a little less without bonus).

nowadays i hardly see this great clan in play – and i think it might be a strategy problem. whereas Huracan add lots of weird possibilities due to a great responsive bonus and quite uncommon abilites Frozn seem stuck with a really amazing bonus, whicht doesnt play out as well as it looks. the solution? might really be an first-round-only-ability. might be called charge. or something else. i really dont care. but i do care about this clan

I've been using Frozn in half-decks for about two days now and came to conclusion that people can't think outside the bonusbox. Also that they look down on Hakunak and all the non-Fhtagn questers are using Uppers. So, play that to your advantage.

@zincomega that'd be too huge. there has to be another way
@maki yea, Haaken is one of the rare ok-ish first round cards in Frozn. i see your point, and'll try that approach, but still think they have a serious first round problem, which needs to be adressed
@got true, but still a long shot, even if youre good at using those mind games

It occured to me that a +attack / life left Huracan would make an extremely potent opener.

Imagine a 3* 6/4 +attack/life left Huracan. Just annoying enough to make your opponent pill

Great First Round Ability: Attk *pillz left

If Frozn got a double release with a 2* and a 5* (Like Hawk and Lehane) where the 2* had +Attk *life left and the 5* had +Attk *pillz left It would open the Frozn up to some amazing possibilities. Of course the life left really has no synergy with their bonus on firs turn, and could be considered OP on Revenge turns, but i think Frozn need some OP.

Also: Ayah (or whatever her name is) has been overlooked for far too long. If you get a 3/1 split and she's your only Frozn she still has a threatening ability. If you play something weird like Freaks/Huracan + Frozn you can play some really great mind games with her. if you play mono you can play mind games and actually have a reason to put 3 pillz on Tiwi first round. Frozn don't have first round cards, but she makes many of the cards in her clan viable first round cards.
