Hello I have every character under at least 2.500 and am thinking of selling them all and buying 8 good characters from each clan. Is this a good idea or should I just make a few decks with what I've got????

Depends a whole lot on what you plan on doing with the new collection you would get.

It's virtually up to you, I've never been a fan of buying the cheapest cards just to improve my collection.
If I was you, I might buy 2 or 3 decent decks and build your collection around those particular clans.
