It's the little green circular thingy located at the bottom left corner of the screen during battles..it indicates your remaining time to make a move or else you'll time-out..it's very beneficial..it puts pressure to both sides..and it helps you see how much time you have left..it can also tell whether your opponent can think well with a timer or blunder when there's time pressure..so it's fun..

It is the worst thing the could have done now the people who likes to tme out battles to the firsts places on the tournament will know the exactly time that they have in order to play 'til round four almost wasting theirs timer in every round

This timer have also a bad side. People who like to block you in battle, now know exactly how long they can do this

We are not gonna remove something really useful to the vast majority of fair play players just to avoid a few unfair ones.
