Yes, it caught me out as well.
I lost two games before I realised that my usual NO RANDOM setting had switched to NORMAL in a Deathmatch game today.
Apparently if enough players in the room have NORMAL set as their mode of play then everyone has to play that way also.
Not sure I agree with this idea and I dont want to ignite the old random or No random debate, but surely there should be a clearer choice for DM and not just finding out when you enter the DM room itself?
@Howl_ Obviously I know about Random/Non Random in all the other rooms...It just caught me by surprise in Deathmatch that it gets changed automatically. Thanks for the helpful comments
It's just stupid that the only way to find out what setting the room is on is to play a match. How hard could it be to let us know before hand? though if that were the case, the "randumbers" would always be playing in tiny, 3-4 man rooms, LOL.
Why not start up the debate again? I'm always up for some "randumber" bashing
Randumbers...If your going to offend them atleast do it right.
Random newbs who suck at UR and spend every last single newby clint they have on a Rescue clan just to play random for the chance of beating a great player such as myself, why dont you do something contructive and go die? Or even better switch random off. Newbs. (I joke I joke )
