Sorry this week is ridiculous... I dont even know what could counter Freaks with half decks like GrudjOlgaBogdanEsmeralda/Bertha.... there is literally no counters to them (some may say sob but they get dominated by Freaks high power)
The longer they go with out getting an attack through, the less damage you take from the bonus. Their high power is designed to help them get through with their bonus. The downside is that while they have a high power, and the poison bonus, their damage tends to be on the low side.
SoB clans are perfectly fine against them, without their bonus they aren't as dangerous. it just becomes another match of playing against a high power clan.
Minus power is good, especially when coupled with attack manipulation. All Stars, and Uppers immediately come to mind.
If you need to design your deck to counter Freaks + Jungo. Jungo are a more potent clan than Freaks though. Freaks aren't a really huge problem , just another one. Like dealing with Mona + Oscar in Montana, even if there both in the same hand there are still ways to get round it.
(Oscar's normally a 2 - 3 piller unless you've got something like Askai in the way , Mona is normally for attack but can be used as a bluff)
I doubt you'll have as much of a problem with Freaks this week though, Grudj + Olga both banned takes them out.
You'll maybe see BogdanBertha Esmerelda Pyro but that's much less of a threat. Roots halves will rule this week.
Some strategy to consider. Not all, but many Freaks players will throw a detrimentally high number of pillz in the first round to land their poison. If you bluff, virtually any clan with attack manipulation, or power advantage should have superiority afterward. You can often take it easy the next round or two because any damage they deal is just overlap of damage you're going to take anyway. Win the last round(s), and be sure to knock them under 3 life.
