How to increase your ELO score??

Monday 25/03/2013, 15:40

I was recently playing ELO after a really reallly long time properly.
I found that I reached 11xx from 1000 during the hour . which in books is quite ok .
Now what I realized was that someone actually reached 14xx during the same time!!
Now this was b4 Bogdan was banned .
I have been searching of means to get a high rating , but i havent found any .
Now I did think that maybe the winner had like 13xx b4 , but I was reset to 1000 after the tournament.
Next , I also realized that my rank was very very low for having had won about 15 fights and lost only 3-4

Can someone please explain the new rules to me ?
I remember that there used to be a bar below ur play window that used to notify ur position after every match that isnt there anymore either.

I dont understand...
you get points when you win and when you lose you lose points easy ?
if you want high elo modify decks and your playstyle and you'll quickly reach 1200 (its really easy though)

It shows your ranking on the results. Were you thinking tourneys?
Just keep trying and you'll get better. I suck at elo btw..
What's your deck?

An Elo cycle starts on Monday, ends on Sunday. You play during a whole week to get high ratings.
Not in an hour.

I m currently not selling Bogdan coz being banned from ELO , his price dropped al ot . I ll sell him when he is unbanned .
Still sitting on 11.3k which I am saving to buy Jay :p

People who get 1400 in one day are really committed to the game and spend ridiculous hours on the game.

1400 in a day is possible without investing too much time. I can get to 1380-ish in about 3-5 hours on a Sunday with nothing to do. It's better to play a little bit every day though.

Actually i was talking about 1 hour not 1 day . What happened was that I played suring the 23rd hour or something >"
