Futoshi Ld set out all alone for the frozen lands north of Mount Glatz
to master his smashes and slaps in more testing climatic conditions.
Then, half dead in the snow, his heart faltered and he felt rise up from
deep within him a demonical being. And it was this that precipitated
his return to Clint City. But is he in search of help or destruction? No
one is quite sure...
Futoshi Ld is a legendary character who is only available by carrying out missions connected with him.
To obtain this character, you must unlock his last mission before June 9th at 11.59pm (GMT + 2:00)
"I'm disappointed. Only 1 of the challenges requires you to have at least 2 Fang Pi characters"
Word. I think LD's are one of the reasons why you build your collection clanwise. We have clan-specific special cards and I feel their missions should be tied mostly to that clan and if any clan can be used then the mission objective is relevant to clan. LD should be reward for specific clan and inducement to broaden your collection.
Yes, it can be seen as push to get more cards thus give incentive to buy credits when people need cards to compete or clintz for the named card missions. This kind of push is understandable and Im totally cool with it - since we could easily live without LD cards - they are not that hot on the playfield (Well. Maybe Bonnie, Futoshi and Tiwi are...). Nobody is denied LD's in the long run, you just need to wait next time if you dont get it now. Nothing is lost for beginners, so no need to ease the requirements.
@T-spoon; Agreed. I always thought the Lds were a way to encourage people to try new clans (and drive the economy a bit). In fact, if it weren't for Ld missions I would never have tried FPC, sakhrom, or Sentinel, which are now possibly my top three favourite clans.
I hate deathmatch!! How many times do I have to get a win in that tournament mode when I launch the battle only for them to tell me I was in classic mode when the battle is over! It's like having to win 20 in deathmatch because you only get credit for 1/2 of them
