Since Britain's Got Talent has come and gone this year and this year's America's Got Talent is underway, I've been currently writing a series fic in which Clint City has it's own version. However, it focuses more on the judging aspects rather than the show itself and its main character is someone you probably wouldn't immediately jump to in terms of talent show judges. And since other people feel comfortable in posting their own work, I felt I should post this and see what people think of what I have so far (I've nearly completed part 4) Because the fic's parts are too long to post in 1500 character parts without too much trouble, hopefully it'll be ok to post the links to the parts. And I'll update when I post new parts. Comments and such are welcome.
For the record, .5 parts are just shorter connectives to help the bigger parts flow together more smoothly. And my portrayals of characters may not necessarily match yours.
Read the first two, will read the rest in a bit. Looks great so far. I love Dorian's last name here You should probably warn everyone that the fic isn't exactly child-friendly, considering how tight things are in the forum.
Great work again! Keep it up, and who knows, UR may hire you.
Thanks, Duessel. :D Yeah, I probably should have warned about it not being the most child-friendly fic in the world though I can safely say that it's just those few sparks of stronger language here and there. Oh, and Dorian's surname is for two reasons. One, it's a colour like Gray and two, it comes from a UK mentalist called Derren Brown who reminds me of Dorian XD
Part 4 is posted and is closer to home (as far as the Montana are concerned).
I've had the whole day to myself so managed to get quite a few hours of writing in. Lucky for me, not so Lucky for you XD Anyway, parts 5 and 5.5
Part 6! :D In this part, Palmer is basically me in regards to dog dancing acts- I appreciate the talent and training but seeing dogs on two legs just isn't natural.
I can confirm that this fanfic will end at part 10 and follow up with an epilogue, with parts 7.5, 8, 8.5 and 9 proceeding them. I have outlines of the parts but not the entire content. But for now, here's part 7.
7.5 wasn't originally going to exist but the time gap was such between 7 and 8 that I felt there could be some kind of connective ^^ Don't worry, it'll all be over eventually XD
