After months of trials and taking into account your views (forums, surveys and the X-Periment ELO event), we are officially changing the list of permanent ELO bans: Arkn, Toro, Ghumbo, Bonnie Ld, Sledg, Ulrich and Arno will be banned, while Uranus in now authorized.These changes will come into effect from the week commencing December 05.Happy gaming to you all in ELO mode!

Toro, Ghumbo, Bonnie Ld, and Sledg I can understand. They're powerhouses that are extremely difficult to compete against. Arkn, Arno, and Ulrich, however, are complete and utter mysteries to me. They're irritating cards, but not hard to play against nor are they completely impossible to deal with, so their banning is completely unnecessary in my opinion. As for releasing Uranus back into the wild, that, I believe, is a mistake. She'll just be voter banned every other week like she was before, meaning that another card that would have been banned in her place will be running wild in ELO.

So, you now have a clan that has two 3 stars and one two star permanently banned. How does this make any sense!?! No other clan even comes close to this kind of punishment. Don't forget (as it was mentioned above), this now leaves room to player ban Hawkins (another 2 star) every week. Seems a little ridiculous to me. Honestly, I don't play a ton of ELO, but I like to make fun, challenging T2 decks using low star cards for DTs, and typically I use Piranas for this. Now, I'll be taking -2 or -4 points every time I pull Bonnie Ld and/or Smoky CR. Just a little bit frustrating.
