@ tititoro: Lds aren't released every lunar equinox or whatever, UR staff get to decide when and for how long. I would imagine that if they doubled the number of Lds, they'd just half the wait time.

@ghelas, maybe if they released 2 each time... But when they only release LD's one at a time, that would double the cards, still in the same amount of time. This would mean that all Ld's would wait 2x longer than now.
On the otherhand, let's assume UR decided to make every other week old LD releases. We'll see 2x the normal amount of old lds. Might not be as exciting as new lds, but it would seem like a more stable idea.
