Ld's are every 2 weeks. It's not going to change any time soon.
Ld's are in order of their previous releases, which Jaxx Ld will be released during the course of the next few months.
I do think that they should bring back Characher related missions.

With the longer time span to do LD missions in, character-specific missions wouldn't be as problematic as they have been in the past. Price hikes won't be an issue if players are moving to the next LD as it comes out, while those who want to wait for specific characters to drop in price have a longer time period to do so.
