Are people really that surprised with this change? Really? Do you not read? I can now tell you which cards will go out on 1.4.2013., and yet you guys will still wonder about it when they go, like you do for Skeelz now, which every person could see coming...

So by the next reformat of Standard, Berzerks will be losing almost half of their number.

Just to all those people who don't understand how Standard works enough to know that it's based on time, not how overpowered the clans are;
Skeelz lost half of their clan because:

"Only cards released after October 2nd 2009 will be valid in Standard format"

This is the golden rule of standard, and of course that Ambre is banned ( )
So yeah, I don't know about Standard Tourney but for Standard DM I am sad to see Caelus Cr go. For some of us, he will be missed.
Hopefully this does not mean that all that will be run in SDM is Vortex...

Right now, Standard Deathmatch is my favourite format and all this is going to do is reduce the already overused Skeelz and also damage my All Stars and Junkz decks. The only problem now is to hurry up and get the Vortex banned. 6 pill Vortex with Morphun is kind of annoying now...

I'm going to go make some non-Vortex decks now instead of moaning about the Skeelz slaughter.

Rapture-mob go try to play a mono Junkz deck in elo, you will find that they have some great low star cards but cannot dish out damage for beans, and Rowdy not only can deal that damage but gives you better odds it gets through.

All i got too say is for the Skeelz and Skeelz user we got hit the hardest ever

@rapture-mob they all have sweet power sure, but Qubik is the only 4* in that clan with semblance of solid damage. Gibson and Fizzle both are killed by every dr, and even a dr as low as 2 (like the pussycat bonus) takes away half their damage. there are tons of playable 2 stars, yes thats right, 2 stars with just as much, if not more damage than those two.

And while Eebiza has just as much damage as Qubik, Pegh, Bristone, Clover, Uranus, Jeena, Redra, Artus, Marina, Spiaghi, and tons of other common drs leave her with guess what. 2 damage.

Rowdy is not as overpowered as everybody thinks. Uranus can take away all but 1 of his 6 damage, and Clover is in the game as well. SoA has now been coupled with decent power and pill/ atk manip. hriegr and Tuck Gertjan, Rico. Those cards all have atk manip paired with soa and they kill Rowdy.

and people complain about his attack manipulation. To which i reply, Kerry, Sasha, Dr Falkenstein, Troompah, Askai, Jose Star, Ace, Edd Cr. heck rowdy's ability dissappears against Rescue and Montana.

and for that matter lets go ahead and list the cards from SoB clans which are used and challenge Rowdy. Glorg, Dieter, Magenta sarge Baba kristen Raeth tailjon. Now some of those cards arent used in every deck, and Rowdy beats Magenta pill for pill. and some of those all stops are conditional.

but my point is that he is by no means overpowered anymore. the game has changed and their are plenty of cards in his league now.

no. the Vortex were released before the bezerks. however the ur staff favoring the bezerks released an amazing amount of bezerks to tie them up. appearingly the exact opposite of what theyre doing now.
