This just happened to me two times last tourney.
I played a card, but still caused a time out.

yes, I had more than 100 points so the timer went down quickly,
but the game didn't register in time my played card.

So I caused a time out.

Losing the match, which I would have won, but also getting a penalty.

Dropping below 100 points....

later this happened again...causing me not to end in the top 100

Really annoying...
any way to solve this?

Stop lagging
play on a faster computer
cause the animations already start the timer
outside of that
play your cards faster
dont be one of those omg i dont like how you are winning so i am gonna take forever to play and just wait till the timer is red to play my card

Yeah......probably playing from china also doesn't help.....

computer is maybe a bit old, but hey.....

I know the timer starts before I can choose cards....
sometimes it is almost red when I'm back from the fight sequence to select my next card.

yup, also hate those who are intentionally lagging....
also hate the quiters, how can I get my KO....

It's uh, actually not the computer's fault. I believe, in this case, your internet is causing you the time-outs. As long as you don't have like 500 Mhz of Ram or 1 Ghz of Cpu, you should be fine in the computer department.
