Just buy the Rescue collection then. slowly build your collection up from the cheap to the expensive ones. That way your deck will improve over time and help you win more clintz to spend. that is how i built up my collection as a new player.

Cheap Rescue decks will help you earn clintz and credits, eventually you will be able to save up for Rescue ELO decks that will be good enough for 1300 points every week.

Montana + Hugo will also work. Rescue + Hugo also works, just not as well

Personally i used budget Montana+Hugo, Rescue+Hugo when i started playing DTs. After a while i managed to save for the big Rescue cards and played DT with Rescue until i saved up for the Montana/Uppers DT deck. Once you have a solid DT deck, earning clintz/credits is not so hard

that deck will beat enough decks in a DT to get you into top 150

Krash (use him over Larry in ELO)
Anita (again she is vital in ELO decks... put her in for Pam/Bobby to have more power)

and for a serious Rescue DT.... you are gonna want Alec for the 8 damage.
