A new T1 proposal
FitJohn - Titan English - Monday 16/08/2010, 23:36

I would like to propose a new kind of T1 tournament for players who know how to play.

I find it very annoying that I can play a whole tournament and face 80% of either Montana/Uppers/Rescue. And when it is not those same old same old decks, then you've got Junta and Jungo's huge cards that can win a match with one win. That just ain't right.

New T1:
No card can have more than 8 for power WITH bonus activated.
No card can do more than 6 damage difference total.
No Leaders / no 5 stars
Total max bonus/minus attack is 8. Same for ability.

So yes, that would mean No Montana, no Rescue, no Freaks, and a few popular cards would have to be left out: all the poisoners, almost all +lifers, many Jungos...

The goal would be to de-T2 the T1 tournaments. Because when you face time and time and time and time and time again those Montana / Uppers or classic d-bag Rescue decks, it's getting boring And facing that Junta deck that has 3 possible 2 shots combinations, you ask yourself WTF is this, T2?

So in a nutshell, that is my proposal. To see if you can win with your abilities rather than just because of a freak card or a viagra bonus.

It should be doable.

Is there a more appropriate place to make that kind of suggestion?

This sounds a bit like a rage.
maybe if you want to go well in DTs, modify your deck if you keep losing to Montana/Uppers, etc.

I don't keep losing to Montana Uppers. I would just to face other types of decks than the Montana Uppers Rescue 80% of the time. It's boring to the extreme.

Montana/Uppers/Rescue actually aren't that good. You just can't beat them

I just told you I do not keep losing to them, I'm just freaking fed up to ALWAYS face the same deck that allow the unskilled to win. I hope that is clear enough, otherwise learn to read. VARIETY is what I'd like to see. Why do you think everyone plays with those decks, because it is a challenge? It is because it allows weak players to win.

Lol I can say what is wrong with this. You have a problem with montanas and Uppers yet your killing Bangers and ula wata with this format. Aswell as La Junta and Jungo.

Also this is the appropiate place to post it, it better to discuss it first before giving it to contact support.

I can understand FitJohn´s frustration. Some cards ruin the fun, for example I am always pissed when I see Jackie in the opponent´s hand. Absolutely no fun to play against him / her.
A new tournament room format with Elo rules would be awesome... And faster game speed of course, slow players ruin this game! Faster games = less stalling = more action = more fun, it´s really easy, isn´t it? Sometimes I think that a better name for this game would be "Urban slow players".
