I think it's strange the way the Roots fans cry for new cards (when their LD just recently showed up) while the Pirana clan is still one card shorter than the Roots clan, and you don't see any Pirana fan crying for new cards. The Roots clan must have really terrible cards to use...

I also find it funny how Jungo, one of the newest clans, is one card shorter than Roots, one of the oldest clans and how the Berzerk will likely have more cards than the Vortex in a couple of weeks. Too bad that UR administration doesn't really read the comments of the players, that way they could realize that they are doing something very wrong with these releases.

we arent crying for more cards for the clan, we want more cards for standard, Roots has 10 cards 2 5*, 2 4*, 3 3*, 3 2* pirana has 17, 3 5*, 3 4*, 6 3*, 5 2*

and while Piranas standard cards contain a number of staples, Raeth, Selma, Talijon, Ector, Baba, Ahkab

Roots have Ojibway, Gretchen, Gertjan, Jeto, Burdock

and you can see im stretching the meaning of stable for the last 2 Roots cards

In the current game Roots continue to become weaker, in most game modes. Not one do they truly shine. Sure they are successful but never close to top tier. (arguable ofc) Especially with the release of standard they are yet again at a disadvantage, there are only a select few cards from the clan which can actually be used, many of these aren't very good compared to other clans. (even ghiest, with the same bonus)
Roots was also a clan which was around when the game started, which should mean they would have more cards than majority of the other clans, which obviously isn't the case.
They definitely show potential and have a pretty cool theme going for them, i just don't get why UR keep releasing cards like Rosen. Which could have been so much better if they had 1 more stat. Craho is good, but it would have been so much nicer to see +3 life, he would be strong but not over powered. Hopefully the next card release will be better.
P.s. Roots haven't a single release during 2012 *tear* (except their ld)

But I totally agree with the second half of your post!

Man i'm sick and tired of hearing noobs complaining how Michael or this other cards is too "overpriced", all because they still dont understand the "power of marketing manipulation" (its not rocket science people). The reason why Micheal price is like this because they are 21 of this card, the people who play this game will want it, this card is amazing strong, it is wat this clan needed, they r only 3 clan that dont have a Ld (Skeelz is one of them people) and when the new Skeelz Ld is coming out, this card will increase higher.

@Esk03, also remember that it will help in a slaughter deck for halfdecks. While caelus, Dwan, heegrn, and Tomas were virtually the only main cards they had to offer, caelus went cr, so he replaces caelus essentially!

@UM-Xword, Roots have been a rather forgotten clan. They have a lot of bad cards(1 usable 2* with no offensive talent, as Jeto and Miken Moose suck. 4*'s are Macumba, gretchin, Lilly and Burdock, 2 of which id choose, and not quite a lot of 5's.
More importantly if we look at standard, they haven't many choices, again why they are, "forgotten". Jungo and Piranas hae tons of standard cards. As for Berzerk and Vortex, hopefully they will pick up on this.

I personally love this update. Ulu got a card that'll allow noobs to play elo a bit easier, Berzerk got another decent 2-star that can be used alongside Melanie, Jungo got a way of countering Uranus and caelus simultaneously, and Skeelz got the most powerful courage-based power abuser in the game.
