- Wednesday 13/06/2012, 14:06As well as allowing you to level up, battle points are also key to the Daily Tournaments as the ranking system is based on the number of battle points won. We have decided to update the way in which these points are calculated by simplifying the system and making it less dependent on the number of stars a deck contains and more dependent on the development and outcome of the fight. You’ll find all the details on this new points calculating system in the rules by clicking here. This change is now in place, including during the DTs.

What about the penalty cards? Do they remove the 2 points or not?

Hello, here are the changes for the battle point system :
Battle Points:
At the end of each fight and depending on the outcome,
you’ll receive a certain number of points that will allow you to increase your own personal level as well as your position within the players’ ranking table.
Your ranking in the Daily Tournaments is based on the number of battle points obtained over the course of the tournament.
Points Table:
Defeat: 10 Points + bonus for rounds played only
Draw: 15 Points + bonus for rounds played only
Win: 20 points + all bonuses
If you abandon a fight: -20 points, no bonuses
Bonuses
- rounds played: for each round played you’ll receive 2 bonus points. This bonus will be added for a win, draw or defeat
- star rating of your deck lower than that of your opponent’s: 3 points if the difference is lower than 5, 5 points if the difference is equal to or higher than 5
- a win in at least 3 of the fight's 4 rounds: 3 pts
- a win in 4 out of 4 rounds: 5 pts
- a win by KO: 3 pts
- a win with 13 or more life points left at the end of the match: 3 pts
Concerning elo, we are curently discussing about some changes we'd like to apply on this mode. I'll keep you informed as soon as we have something strong to show you
