Cut the size. It works like this, In DT's, the igher your stars VS your opponents' stars, the amount of points you get at the end of the battle. E.g:
If you win with a SkrumxxT and Eris against a Mawpin and Pan or something, you will get very little points at the end of the match. So people generally keep their total stars in the deck around just above the ELO range (26-2. Also, ELO banned cards -2 points from the end of the match. Uppers are great because they have alot of 2hko's, speeding up the game.
And with the strategy, if you hand Hugo try to use like 1-2pills, just try to minimize it at the 1st or 2nd round and save it to the latter round, coz with Hugo and the Montana Bonus, you have like 18attack advantage over your opponent, for a 6power card enemy, he has to put 3 or more pill just to defeat you
I woulnd't use Ambre use Hugo. He will make a 18 atack difference without having to spend a single pill and that effect will be usefull for all your cards. Ambre is for me to ensure the wining of a round with some strategic cards mostly used in deck with high damage output cards.
