The damage blocking one is annoying due to the fact that the DR is an ability and their clan bonus is to stop that. And since alot of people are trying form the Ld card...well this mission really was not well thought out

It is different. I noticed it, too. Some cards have what looks like a checkerboard pattern with a bunch of "S"s on it. What does it mean?

Someone else commented on it. It's supposed to represent cards that can be used in Standard format, it seems.

On another note, when do we get a room with standard format? And if there is one for computer already, when does i-phone get an update? Preferably also slots and single player compatible.

Teh rooms for the assorted Standard formats will be up, uh. "Soon" I'd guess. No official word quite yet.
Cards that are valid for Standard have the background. Cards that are for Extended only have the plain white background.
This is a new feature and it seems that it isn't perfect quite yet, but getting there. It'll make it easy for you to tell both in your collection, and when buying new cards, what format cards can be in. How this will effect prices is pure speculation at this stage.

I noticed that you cannot zoom the picture of cards eligible for Standard (when you click on the image on the character's page, nothing happens). Why ?
