There needs to be something done about players leaving when they know they have lost, its happening alot more now that I am playing more ingrained players. The novices obviously don't care about their win loss yet. And I lose out on time and combat gains.
I agree 100%, if they know they will lose they leave then its you that really loses
Its true. But you can't put a penalty if someone has to leave the game no? What if the line disconnected accidentally? What if you accidentally close the browser? What if your computer hangs? Happens a lot in my area esp
If you have played at least one round, there is a little penalty if someone
leave a game, and the opponent still gets his battles points, clintz and XP.
By the way, if you accidentally close your brower, relaunch the game
within 5 minutes will bring you directly back to the battle in progress.
Yeah, your right. Maybe binging up the penalty points will do the trick. I say about 50 penalty should be enough.
My brother typed "sucks to be you" on my last message. He typed this in when I was upstairs he typed this.
I don't know why, but I've been thinking about this a lot, and I may
have come up with something that stops quitting based on losing
without punishing people who have to leave for one reason or another:
if you quit or time out, you can't play for some amount of time (15-30
minutes would be my suggestion). If you have to go to dinner or
something, you won't care since you'll be gone, but if you're just
quitting because they have, say, DJ Korr, or a level 5 leader, you have
to sit there for a while before you can play again.
Clint City, day.
