It all began one stormy night at the Red One Motel. A rat-catcher unlike any other released Xantiax gas into the hotel's air ducts, contaminating all the occupants. Among the first to be transformed were Norman the receptionist, Kawamashi the savant on the run, Beef the trucker and Esther the run-away school girl. Together they make up the first wave of Berzerk clan members and THEY ARE NOT HAPPY!!Get the Berserk Clan in the shop’s packs
I like backlash! Ur opponent will let u win ur card with the knowing u pilled the card and without knowing u haven't pill it..
At first I WAS disappointed with their bonus...
THen I saw backlash, I WAS disappointed again...
The cards SEEM mediocre at first, but UR is smart with NOT foolishly releasing cards that are OP.
But believe it or not, I'm NOT disappointed To me, their seeming "mediocreness" cleverly disguises their MASSIVE base stats (as previously mentioned).
In many ways, Berzerk cleverly brings something new to the table.
- opponents SOA will be more of a "help" (for YOU) for the first time.
- 3* 8/4, -2 opp life min 6!?! We haven't seen that kind of raw power since Lyse Teria Cr!!! BASE STATS WHOO!
- The new ability "Backlash" ALLOWS UR to create OP (than usual) base stats... (a.k.a. something new to the table)
- New type of mind game (as previously mentioned). Are they trying to win with backlash? Or did they 0 pill?
The arrival of the LDs' ("UNDERpowered-ness") shows UR's increasing cautiousness in creating new cards' stats. New card releases as of late seem more and more "weak" compared to releases like Jackie, the Tan Man, or DJ Korr... It is BETTER/safer (for UR battle mechanics) to create cards that are a bit weaker than we want because cards like that are less likely to mess with UR's delicate balance.
Do new clans normally start with only 4 releases? I seem to remember there being 6 cards for the first 1 or two releases. Maybe we have that to look forward to next week (maybe not though...)
