it feels that your arguments makes Steve, Slyde, and Scott Ld are cards with same stars, but they are not

scott is 4 stars, it takes lots of space, and you expect he would be better than their lower level 2 and 3
Slyde and Steve have lower star count, so you don't expect they could win each match

against SOA, they only 5 power, but with +12 attack
same with Scott Ld? yes, they could drain your opp pillz
they serve their purpose as low level card
but scott? 7/4 at level 4, and you are going to let it drain your opp pillz?
no, you want a big star card like him to win
but he even if he win, he has too low damage to make differences

SOB: we cannot deny that almost all Rescue cards rely on their bonus to become good
but even if you do a pillz fight,
your opp could respond low pillz card, and you can pillz more than him (and deal only 4 damage?)

if I saw Scott Ld I would relieve because it is same as I'm against a level 3 card

the main point is Scott Ld brings no threat

against Scott Ld:
you pick him first
it would be a chance for me to throw low stars card, or I would just DR it.
if I lose, then it's only around 1-4 damage that in.
but you already throw away your level 4 card (that supposed to be one of your strongest card)

If I pick first, I would not worry if you DR my card
why? it's a level 4 card, if you do really want to drain my pillz, then so be it
again, will you throw a big card like that only for a DR?
if you attack with Scott Ld, does it worth to attack using him? (with only 4 damage pass through?)

another problem would be, Rescue low level cards have low damage
yes, they have pretty low damage and sometimes I hate it if I draw their low level cards
Rescue level 4 and 5 are the damage dealer and can makes differences
Scott Ld does not have this quality (high damage)
if you have a bad draw, for example Lea, Krash, Steve / Larry, and Scott Ld
what would you going to do? they have high power, but no damage
one hit from 6-8 damage card would make you lose

I would take Kerry, Benson, Suzie, or even Ghoub before I'm thinking to use Scott Ld
why? because other low stars could take the job to drain my opp pillz
and later these level 4 card could deliver the damage even with their 6 power

There's also the problem of where to use him. In T1, you'd be looking at Kerry and alec, and I'd personally take Glosh if I wanted a third 4*. Just to make guys with soa think about how they play. And in T2, he's kinda underwhelming.

That leaves what, elo? Except that elo's got 14 life. Throw in a 2 star reducer from just about any clan and you've thrown away 4*'s for nothing. And that's if you win. Otherwise you've spent 4*'s doing what 2-3*'s could have done.

Man, preventing 25 damage with Rescue must be the most frustrating and annoying mission ever -.-

Either you get hit with SoA or it is cards that don't deal high enough damage or, even worse, your bonus simply beats your opponents card...

Just realized but every other damage reducer beats Scott Ld

Scott Ld: -2, min. 2
Steve: -2, min. 1
Slyde: -3, min. 1
Pastor: -4, min. 2

Denise...

and then only Pastor really beats him, the others have no way of winning in a fully pilled fight tbh...

because I don't think his flaw on low damage apply on another level 4 Rescue (except Suzie, but she has support +1 life which means 6 life gap)

I want to mention this: A +Life mission in the DM room is silly.
