I think the UR team should make more than 1,000. By producing more, suppliers usually will offer lower prices for bulk manufacture, allowing more to be sold into the market.
By limiting it to just 1,000 instead of 10,000 for example, the cost price of manufacture could outweigh the possible generated revenue of selling this Kolos figurine into the huge market that have a waiting demand for it.
This said, I have a feeling that there will be a huge "black market" on eBay, where people who have got the figurine, will sell it at a much higher price, compared to what Amazon would cost at USD 44.90. This will be a similar effect to Crs, where limited supply cause "black market" effects in the Cr market. All these would then be a missed opportunity for the UR team to gain revenue, losing this opportunity to the "black market".
Just my 2 cents worth.

If there are only gonna be 1000 figures there won't be many to buy because people all over the world play urban rivals. For example North America might get just over 100 of the figures but then you've got to share that between all the countries there so each country might have 6 or 7 figures but then you've got all the county's so a county would be lucky even to get 1 and what shop is just gonna buy 1 or 2 dolls from UR? The prices will outrageously expensive on the blackaraket A.K.A.

These thingsll probably be sold out the minute they hit the market. Most people wont even get a chance to buy it. 1000 is a very small amount once you realize that, as badbillster and Im sure many others have said, UR is a worldwide game.

Yeah, like I said in post #92, the "black market" effect will definitely arise as a result of a far outcry of demand over supply. These are very fundamental Macroeconomic effects. UR should not make it a novelty, otherwise, it can only blame itself for its loss of revenue to the individuals in the "black market".
