Question about stars and DT LeeMitLeZ - Master - Wednesday 09/05/2012, 11:59
Hi, I haent played the game for a very long time, last time I played was 3 yrs ago. I remembered having DT T1/T2, but it seems they changed it. So does that mean it doesnt matter if your deck is 25* below/above, you just go in to the same room? and about building the deck, I noticed that some are actually making 20* below, what is advantage of having low star deck count? sorry for the noob questions, been gone for a long time...
Theres a couple reasons why it works, and the problems therein.
Low star decks gain better points, which is widely discussed. Even your losses with low star decks may give as many points as a 2hKO with a stronger deck. You are essentially rewarded for building a deck that doesn't win against 'conventional' decks, and even better rewarded for any game you win(which will be many).
The thing that people don't talk about, is that playing low star decks will frequently pit you against inexperienced players, often with 'jumble' decks, far more often than if you play 25 stars. Easy wins to pad your point total. Hopefully not at the detriment of the new player base.
