New feature: XP Reserve ! Fraggle - Admin - Clint Staff - Monday 02/08/2010, 21:10
Hi everyone,
We just released the first integration of a new feature we call "xp reserve".
Purpose:
Allow you to stack xp when you play using fully maxed characters. You can then use that xp in "My Collection" (we'll add this function to the collection pro as well) to level up your evolving characters.
How it works:
Your xp reserve has a max capacity based on your current level using that formula: max xp = 500 + your level * 100.
Then the extra xp is added automatically to your reserve at the end of each battle when you play using maxed characters (similar as how xp is added directly to the evolving characters).
We are going to add various ways to get capacity increases and maybe ways to get more xp in the reserve directly
It's still an early implementation but we couldn't wait!
One minor thing, but very important.
Suppose you have a Wardom 1 star. To make him level 5, you spend 5000XP points and you get 50 battle points as bonus. Instead of that, you can use this 5000 XP points to level up 10 1 star Wardoms or any other cheap 1 star card, in which case you get 20 X 10 = 200 battle points as bonus. Same XP you spend, but you get 4 times the bonus points and makes your levelling up faster.
Decent feature. Perhaps not for the "average" player but rather for card-collectors. If you´re like me and constantly trying to get a "perfect" series of cards. Meaning one card for each possible star for each character. Without any a excess-xp that is.
This kills all the 0xp cards on the market
No one is going to pay double or even triple the value for a 0xp.
This is both a good and bad feature. Good, it makes leveling up those early ability cards without the worry of wasting any fights with them. Bad, it kills the market of 0xp cards.
...how exactly does it kill the 0xp market? Last time I looked you can only add xp, not remove xp. So... what exactly changed to increase the amount of 0xp cards?
Allow me to answer Strategic cards have market at their appropriate levels. Alsaya. Like 1 star Caciope, 2 star Noodile, 3 star Yayoi, 4 star Charlie, etc Actually they are more expensive than their fully levelled counterparts.
