Testing out Thomy

Hello Thomy

Good experiment, IMO, but not strictly necessary... A little math shows that Thomy is a good beginner card, and that's it.

Most clan bonuses either help win rounds, or kick in when a round is won. That means Thomy's ability is redundant if there are 3* cards with round winning power equal or greater to the round winning power granted by "strongest" clan bonuses -- and there are.

In mono, Martha and John have better winning power than Thomy, making him obsolete. Martha's +12 from her ability means she's as good as Thomy against Montana and Rescue, but a bit better than him against other clans. John makes up for Montana and Rescue bonus in 4 pills, and becomes significantly stronger with every consecutive pill you toss on him after that.

In a half deck, Thomy's spot is much better filled by the expensive but very flexible Melvin. Throwing a few pills on Melvin is an excellent way to put your opponent into an awkward situation where you threaten a 3-round win.

Thomy does shine against Pussycats and All Stars... But still, he is a comparatively difficult card to use, not great in most ELO weeks.

Nice deck. I would personally change Scopica to Gerald.
