It’s Happy Hour time!

Monday 28/01/2013, 17:25

For a whole month, from 28/01 to 01/03, every day at 5pm and 9pm (GMT +1:00), it’s Happy Hour on Urban Rivals.
Load up on Clintz for an hour.
1 damage = 1 Clintz.
Just turn up in any room (except the Training, Guild and Events rooms) and get playing!
Don’t hang around. Make the most of it.

Most of the time you can easily spot when a cards more expensive then it should be and if you do don't buy it. Most of the time prices will drop back to normal after a few minuets.

@Artemis-BZ: It shouldn't. Do you have cookies turned off?

I don't like this update, as it inflates the cards prices.

I live in california on the pacific west coast so what time is this activated?

I hope you realize that when card prices inflates it:

a) Makes your collection more valuable
b) Makes each pack you get more valuable
c) Makes any card you invested in more valuable

ALSO, this is gotten from the URDB market section...

Average card price in market has fallen from 22000 to 13500 in two months.

That is not inflation

that is DEFLATION. Plain and simple DEFLATION.

Where is your god now?

is there anymore ANY reason to yell "Inflation" except maybe the fun of yelling "inflation" for no particular reason?

Yes, we may add more "features" to the Happy Hours. Feel free to throw in some ideas on what you would like to see. :)

Please feel free to give back the old version of the game. I've tried the new version many times and I hate it.

An old school UR player who has helped put food on your table :-|

P.S.: Thanks for the heads up that you were going to do this.

UM_AaaBattery - should the cookies setting be turned on or off?
Anyway, I hate that animation stuff at the end of each game, which happens even if all the other stuff are turned off :(

Also, my internet connection at home hates the new version, even with the bells and whistles turned off. Thanks, guys, seriously. :-|
Never spending money on this game, again.<img src=epressed:" />

@ Goralion: My suggestion would be a multiplier for the 15 c -10,000 c prizes on the slot machine (something like x 1.5) as well as some small increase for the odds of winning the 250k jackpot.

...And free virtual drinks! :-d

UR definately could use "UR Lite" version targeted for low-end computers and devices. It wouldnt even be hard to do, since most of the heavy stuff is graphics-intensive on user interface (antialiasing, shadows, opaqueness, animations) and those are things that are totally unessential to play UR. By turning those features off on "Lite" version the playability suffers zero usability hit, but the game becomes playable on low-end systems.

People with low-end systems are often the ones who want to find content out of these types of games, so basically you are neglecting one customer group totally.

Its unbelieveable that I can play some AAA action games on my old laptop but card game called Urban Rivals is too heavy to run on it because of excessive - and ultimately unneccesary - decorations.
