Only cards released after October 2nd 2009 will be valid in Standard format, while cards released before this date will now only be playable in Extended format. Thats the biggest problem with this standard system, every year standard will lose an entire clan, i still question whether it was even worth creating this standard format, it will always be dominated by 2 clans more so than the others.
