Help us develop in Asia(Philippines, Malaysia, Indo, Singap...) crocobill - Admin - Clint Staff - Tuesday 13/07/2010, 11:36
Please give us your ideas in order to enlarge our community in this part of the world. We would also like you to help us identify new payment providers, potential communication partners (game websites, blogs, ...)
We are also looking for motivated players who could help us getting Urban Rivals known (by presenting the game in blogs for instance).
@Knivez : we are going to recontact Kzone, thks !
@Pyrotc : normally the payment via sms should be available soon in most of South East Asian Countries
@gutennagen : when you say an event in megamall, you mean a physical event ?
If so, it's kind of hard because we are located in Europe. The best would be to increase the community through online means first and we might then expand with special events like that in the future.
@everyone : what would very help us is if you guys could speak about UR in forums of popular websites and also to present the game to as many of your friends as possible The group Force Majeure created on facebook is good for that. It can be a good getaway to UR for your friends who don't know the game..
Provide more payment and purchase options in the Philippines. currently UGC is the most accessible but even that is a bit pricey (minimum purchase is 500 pesos. that's $12.5 too expensive esp for students and kids) Also, the most used and most popular mode of payment in the Philippines is prepaid cards valued at 50, 100, 150, 300 and 500 pesos. an option to be able to buy credits at $1 will really boost your sales here. if that happens, almost everyone will be able to afford a monthly spending allowance for UR (instead of the one-time, bigtime spending spree most of us do)
I cant do much to advertise this game in other countries but i have spread it to some of my Magic:The gathering play group. Maybe talk to wizards about advertising on their sites or at events. Most of the time people who play magic do play this. And if you can get wizards to do some advertising you could end up with alot of players. Magic is played just about everywhere
The Urban Rivals team is made by lovers of all kind of Collectibles Cards Games and Trading Cards Games like: Magic the Gathering, Dominion, Vampire, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon, Wakfu TCG, Assassin Creed Recollection, Shadow Era, Kard Kombat and Might & Magic Duel of Champions.
